View From The Top Posted 24 October, 2011 Share Posted 24 October, 2011 Wife and I use laptops but want a desktop just for the kids to use. Any recommendations for something around £400? Our only real requirement is wifi and a decent sized RAM.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 25 October, 2011 Share Posted 25 October, 2011 Could build a pretty decent Desktop for that price to be fair...

mdearlove Posted 25 October, 2011 Share Posted 25 October, 2011 have a look on the Novatech website: http://www.novatech.co.uk/ £400 gets you a fair way up their range but they dont include monitors. Ebuyer currently have a decent LG monitor at £60: http://www.ebuyer.com/194601-lg-w1946s-bf-18-5-monitor-w1946s-bf-aek
Essruu Posted 27 October, 2011 Share Posted 27 October, 2011 No brainer at this price: - http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/product/1000162069/apple-macmini-mc815ba---intel-core-i5-500gb-2gb-memory.aspx?ref=AW&loc=HotUKDeals&awc=2533_1319712794_283e4e9daf4a9117ab093233c0d271fe

A wired one can be bought for the bargain price of £34, with wireless at £

You can plug your own USB mouse and keyboard in and use any monitor. We use an Apple wireless keyboard and mouse with ours though, and they're brilliant. I think the point is that getting the rest of the components will push the final bill to over 500 (mouse, keyboard, decent monitor) which is well over the budget suggested.
