alpine_saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 Not only have we drawn the chance to show what our splendid youth policy can do against the best team in Europe on paper, but the "Get behind the team, FFS" contingent of Lowe Luv...er...Saints fans have completely thrown away their self-endowed moral superiority and completely shattered their disingenous claim to only care about the financial survival of Southampton Football Club with their completely unsolicited attacks on a significant fraction of the supporter base in response to said draw. For me, this is the thin end of the wedge. Todays events confirm that the supporter base is totally divided from top-to-bottom, and neither side is completely moral or rational in its actions. How is our club supposed to survive this level of acrimony and shiiit ???

Reading away and yesterday showed that , and believe me SMS will be up for it against United. I want Rupert gone but i also want the club to raise prices for non ST HOLDERS/ regular attendees this season, Edited 30 November, 2008 by 70's Mike
Legod Third Coming Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 I didn't see any divisions at the Madejski or Valley so I wouldn't lose sleep. The few stay-aways will end up being marginalised when we start winning again and then will either come back or will die lonely and bitter and without seeing their team anymore. But there appears to be a lot of support behind Jan and the team

I Blame the so called businessmen up at the top for putting good young players in positions where trying their best is still not good enough. I really hope the club triples prices in hospitalty and boxes for this game

I did not realise there was a boycott of games when we got relegated in 1974 but I was living in London then
