Some bloke, abit worse for wear, wouldn't budge when stewards were attempting to eject him apparently.

So more stewards were called in,too many people standing in others way so they could not see what was happening,no great loss there methinks,Radio comentators had to stand as their views were impeded also, therefore it escalated somewhat.

All according to Solent.

I was a few yards away. Looked to me like someone who'd enjoyed a little too much corporate hositality mouthing off and objecting to being told to calm down by a steward. Didn't help that he had plenty of equally 'merry' associates who joined in the argument resulting in a whole load of stewards and police being called and a rather pointless stand-off. They left shortly after the second goal. No real drama just a lot of standing and shouting really.

Shame really as they were previously providing some atmosphere in the normally deadly quiet corporate section, including what I believe was a first ever 'we're the corporate over here' chant.

Jason

Can you confirm, that Jim Steele, turned up and after watching the teams lack of effort, left at half time, to fetch his boots?

There was a grey haired bloke who got a big laugh with some wise-crack before heading off but no idea if it was him and boot-related. Let the rumours continue especially as that's my three posts for the day!
