Saints will always sell Young Players

It is business

The academy is now running full tilt of doing

what is supposed to do.

Every time we sell a player under the Liebherr ownership

we buy a better replacement in return.

Yes there is disharmony in our ranks but

If you sell an 18 year old for £15million plus

It makes economic sense.

Any player who goes is replaceable regardless.

There will be more leaving us no doubt

Chambers looks likely but it is the way we will

Then Be able to afford and attract better players financially to

our club

Same with Managers

Pearson, Pardew, Adkins always replaced with better

managers

Have faith

We are running out of time to replace and get them up to speed, getting extremely concerned at this present time.

The youngsters look good last night but some are a fare way from prem std at present.

Cannot believe that scheiderlin and lovren will go as well, could well do with a statement as well as action to settle peoples nerves.

Lallana .... Overhyped sold for decent money

Lambert ... Couldn't refuse his dream

Shaw... Ridiculous money for 18 year old

Lovren .. Doubled money don't want to be here

So far

Tadic replaces Lallana

Pelle replaces Lambert

Both potentially replaced with better players already

Others will be replaced

I'm with you, Fat C.

What's wrong with the youth of today? Everybody wants instant results. Sometimes you need to do some wholesale pruning in order to get vigorous future growth.

Of the year and cleaned up at the end of season awards.

I do love how we downgrade players when they leave

It would be more convincing it was true but the money for the departed players hasn't been spent on new players, only some of it, in fact less than half of it. As the sale of players goes on, that gap will get wider and wider. The selling of half a team is unprecedented and it certainly marks the end of any ambition to have a team competing for a European place with 50% home grown players. Instead the team has become nothing more than a shop window. Koeman seems to be as helpless as the rest of us and will simply do the best he can with what he's given but in the end most football matches are won by the teams with the better players, and that is no longer Southampton because our better players will be playing elsewhere.

I do wonder how all of the dissatisfaction amongst the fans will be reflected in attendances this season. If gates drop I wonder if Kruguer and Reed will even care because the money from player sales will still be in the bank, or back with Katherina Leibherr as the return on her 'investment'. 'Angry' just isn't a strong enough word for how I feel about it and I have never felt like this about my club in over 50 years, not even when Ian Branfoot was here.
