Recently, while attempting to transfer data from my old spluttering HDD laptop to my Shiny new SSD Laptop, the old Hard HDD gave up the ghost. A Series of beeps and won't start up. I Tried moving to an external caddy but with the same result. I really need it fixed as the last 7 years of family life are on there. Can anyone who has a similar experience recommend a good service in Hampshire that has the proper environment (clean room etc) and a good track record? There are a few online that are based further afield that you can mail to, but that introduces two possible scenarios - lost or damaged in transit - that would leave me worse off than I am already.
