Seems to me that, in addition to appointing the wrong manager time after time, SR have destroyed the supporting fabric of the club.

Look at our first team coaches. Novices and nobodies.

Centralising the recruitment / scouting is also idiotic. We should not be shopping in the same bordello as Goztepe, Valenciennes and African Dreams Special Bus or whoever the fuck else is in the group so it makes absolutely no sense to share those functions.

We are so far from an elite sporting outfit, it's depressing.

JUST GET THE FUCKING BASICS RIGHT

I think they are just shit at the data analysis part. Rasmus metrics are fools gold whereas at Brentford and Brighton they know what the data is worth and how it supports the football club.

They stripped back everything and consolidated effectively all the scouting from club by club to one big special group.

Have any of you ever wondered why half the scouts have left since Ralph Hassenhutl went?
The way the club operated competently was changed, people were asked to do roles and take up jobs which weren’t their responsibility or time to do.

Loads of scouts have left since SR took over.

I think they have cunningly spotted a window of opportunity! No one is currently playing Footnall  - We should be able to invent some rules and then wipe the floor with all comers due to our superior experience at the game!

I’ve never felt so disillusioned and detached from Southampton FC. I’ve followed the club since I was 8, and now, at 40, the current squad, management, ownership just doesn’t inspire me.

When Sports Republic took over, I was optimistic. I was excited. I thought, happy days,  they’ll stabilise the club, we’ll be a solid mid-table Premier League team, maybe even an occasional cup run.

Now I just sit and stare at our decline, wondering how the hell it all went so wrong.

The definition of insanity is Sports Republic, insisting on being too clever with managerial appointments, player acquisitions, and poor decision-making. It’s cost us dearly.

Repeated poor decision-making, reactive rather than proactive leadership, and a complete failure to communicate with the fans who are owed clarity about the club’s vision and leadership.

Rumours of a toxic atmosphere at the club, cliques throwing managers under buses, showing up only when it suits them. I’m sorry, but if we actually had leadership, experienced coaches, directors, management, this wouldn’t happen. They’d set the standards and tell players: either show up or shut up.

Now I actually feel sorry for Tonda. I’m confused how the team can so quickly revert to this possession-at-the-back nonsense. When Tonda was interim, we were flying ,quick transitions, forward-thinking passes from defence to attack.

Now it’s stifled. Five at the back again, players out of position, traditional fullbacks on the bench… the fans know it’s pointless and it doesn’t work, Hints of Rasmus meddling in the background? How is he allowed to continue to do this? Can't Dragan see he is taking him to the cleaners ?

I thought Dragan was an esteemed businessman. Surely he can see the football side of Southampton FC isn’t up to scratch? What’s it going to take for him to wake up — League One, League Two? More millions flushed down the drain?

So what’s the solution? Do we keep circling the drain toward League One, or do we finally say enough is enough.

We bring in someone capable — experienced at this level, who builds their own team, sets the football philosophy and tactics without interference, works with the director of football, targets the right players, and strengthens the squad. With the intention of rebuilding a strong spine and ethos in the team.

This would include selling and removing all the Martin players

Stephens, Bellis, Aribo, Manning, Downes, Wood. Are not up it they have weak mentalities are not real leaders and are actually a common variable of our demise.

We need a stronger non nonsense manager someone in the mould of Warnock who knows the League, doesn't take any nonsense and can give the grifters a kick up the ass.

Or do Sports Republic finally pull the plug and sell?

Considering the money spent and the pedigree of our squad , I’m not saying it’s perfect, it still needs work but being 15th in the Championship? That’s fucking embarrassing. Gutting for us fans. Enough is enough.

Where is the heart, bollocks, passion......

The only thing I can think of is extreme commitment bias on SRs part. They don't want to 'lose money' by shipping out players on the cheap / free. But it's a complete false economy as you end up with this toxic situation with the Martin FanClub undermining the manager and f***ing things up for both him and any new players. Trying to get back the money you spent is actually costing them money in the bigger picture but they can't see the wood for the trees.
