The confidence that came from that cup run bled through into our league performances, and our ability to rotate regularly without dropping massively in quality meant it didn't cause unwanted fatigue. This idea that we shouldn't take the cups seriously and just concentrate on the league is utter nonsense. Late reply alert 😂 Get what you're saying, and I am only talking about this season as it's so critical. There's 6 playoff places up for grabs this time round and will be many more teams genuinely fighting for a playoff place come the tail end of the season. Easier games will be scarce. There's definitely an argument for momentum, but a game every three days is tough...will our squad this season be as resilient / versatile? Genuinely hope so.

As a comparison, last season I’m almost certain I paid £25 for the Arsenal cup quarter final game, the same price as they’re charging for the carabao cup second round this season. Fucking laughable really. Yet another commercial cluster fuck
TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted Thursday at 17:12 Posted Thursday at 17:12 Fuck me, thought this would be, at a push, £20 top whack. So, as a member, if I was to do all 3 home games that week that's getting on for a ton for tickets alone. Easy decision to make, no midweek turnout from me.
Lee On Solent Saint Posted Thursday at 19:41 Posted Thursday at 19:41 Ridiculous pricing. Massive own goal by all concerned. A tenner and a fiver for concessions would have seen a far better attendance.

Just had a quick look and ticket sales are unsurprisingly incredibly low for West Ham, could be a 10k crowd including 3k Hammers
Football Special Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Same competition, Bradford City are charging £5!!!!! Can someone pass this on to FAB

Do WHU get a share of the gate receipts, if so perhaps £25 was as low as they would go?
