  1. Agreed a 3 year deal is an insanely good deal for Ross. He's probably on a lower wage than we offered but doubt he would would have been guaranteed more than 1 year from Saints.
  2. With only 2 years left on his contract I think £20m is about as much as we could expect. By the way I'm sure if anyone offered £15m for Ramsdale then we would gladly move him on
  3. Yep, that'll be me. Will be renewing 2 tickets in the next 24 hours
  4. One problem is I don't think your stats are correct. After 15 games (Edwards) boro's record was W8 D5 L2 29 points at a shade under 2 points per game Hellberg managed 29 games W14 D8 L7 50 points at just over 1.7 per game
  5. Acceptance, with a bit of anger, consoling myself with the thought that Hull would most likely have beaten us given the 2 games we've already lost to them this season
  6. Well I watched all of those games and we were not 'shocking' though they did follow a similar pattern. Us dominant first half, often several goals up then struggling to see out the games as comfortably as we should, possibly caused by a lack of fitness Only ones that varied significantly were the first (QPR) where we were just desperately anxious and Millwall who were probably just better than the other teams we played.
  7. Exactly, we could have checked them out well before Dec 24th, also they had played at least one game under the (old) new guy so just stupid and pointless all round if we broke the 72 hour rule for that bunch
  8. Lies, damned lies and statistics, lol One thing that struck me was that having a loss in one of the last 3league games was seen as a big negative to your chances of promotion, lucky we didn't know that 2 years ago as our 2 losses in the last 3 would have meant we had no chance
  9. Really don't think Coventry have taken their foot off the gas. More likely anxiety as they got closer to the finish line May well play with more freedom now. They'll want to be champions for a start
  10. Yes, as long as long as they each have a separate email address the tickets will go straight to them. I bought tickets for myself and 2 of my family for the Arsenal and WBA games and they received their tickets direct.
  11. To be more precise it was a few days after the LC semi final 2nd leg at Liverpool and was at the end of a sequence of 2 games a week, including the infamously tedious FA Cup 3rd round replay at home to Norwich. Basically ot was a game too far for our squad.
  12. I agree. All the teams left in the Champions League will want a Saturday slot leaving West Ham Leeds on the Sunday. My guess is we'll be lunchtime or teatime.
  13. I'll go for a draw so it's easier for us to overtake both of them, lol
  14. Looks like the first goes through a defender's (Jack?) legs and is deflected. So probably not as bad as it looks on first sight. Third is a tremendous strike that goes into the top corner. Want my goalie to save both but it could be that most would have let them in.
  15. Definitely want Leeds to stay up, not because I have any particular likeness for them, but to give those of aspiring to get back to 'the promised land ' that survival is quite possible.
