Colinjb Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Or, a guilty pleasure. Just something you enjoy even though it's not the best, is incredibly derivative etc. I'm going with 'Equilibrium.' Very cool to look at with ridiculous 'gun kata' psuedo-martial art based fights, riffs massively on the matrix and any dystopian future rebellion story. Plot holes the size of battlefields.... But it somehow works for me. Plus Sean Bean upholds the cliché he represents. 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Starship Troopers. Incredibly clichéd with some truly awful scriptwriting and acting, but simultaneously a very clever piece of tongue in cheek satire that I still thoroughly enjoy with every repeat viewing. 3
Lighthouse Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Funnily enough I’m sat watching The Expendables right now. Let’s just say you get what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less. Also - Super Troopers and Dude, Where’s my Car?
