sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Well I had to buy a ticket in block 4 yesterday as the northam was all sold out except for the first three rows of block 40! I'm just hoping it's not going to be dead atmosphere wise! Can anyone assure me that they sit in block 4 and are still happy making some noise? Perhaps some of the old block 3 crowd are now block 4 so it might be ok?
Griffo Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Block 4 is stood at about the back 7-8 rows I'd say, from row EE upwards usually. But because 1-3 are now open for Saturday I'm not moving over into block 3 for more singing/standing.
In the Pink Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 I sit in block 4, nearish the back, I think the Atmosphere is fine, can get noisy and if your really lucky you may even get to stand up ;-)
londonsaint1604 Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Apart from the Northam that corner is the best for atmosphere. I'm sure if you sing up then it will encourage others to do so.
sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Thanks guys, I got the last ticket in that block apparently, but it was down in row y. With block 3 now reopened, I may look for a space in there once we've kicked off, especially if it looks like they'll be a bit more singing etc.

I'm going to do the same as you mate - look to move over.
yorkie Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 I have a ticket in Block 1. We're The Itchen - and we're back!
sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 3 April, 2009 1, 2 and 3 all open then! Do the ticket office actually let you officially swap seats I wonder. Mind you, with the itchen / northam corner being one of the last to open, I expect it won't fill up so we can just take a stroll once the game is under way. That means I don't have to take my seat early and can stay in the concourse drinking beer instead. woot.

I guess because I'm going "Billy No Mates" tomorrow they fitted me in.
