A Great Man

....once said "He radiates, when he walks on the training field and when he walks in a room. I like that in people. I like giving people. He's not a taker, he's a giver. I don't like the takers. I call them the drainers. There's radiators and drainers.'"

It's the same on this forum. There are radiators and there are drainers. But not today. There cannot be today.

Today we have to go out there and beat Burnley and we, the fans, can help. By being 'supportive' (from the verb to support) and by being positive. This is our opportunity to stick it to the man. To show that, even when beaten, we hold our heads up high and go out fighting.

So look down the back of the sofa, beg or borrow (no stealing BWP) and get yourself down to St Mary's. Join in the song "You can stick your points deduction up your ar$e", and be a supporter. Be a radiator.

Positive attitude breeds a winning culture.

Create a positive atmosphere sing your hearts out for the Saints not the team on the pitch who have been poor all season but the players of bygone days.

Think back to the teams and the players who really cared and played with a passion.

Enjoy the day do not moan

Stuff your ten points up your arse we are to be reborn in league one lets do it all over again.

And we should all remember the game is in two halves. It's perfectly acceptable to support the team after half time. And we should also remember that the "plastic" fans have actually put money in to keep the club going so should be welcomed rather than barracked. Without them, there wouldn't be a game today.

Give all our players a rousing cheer when their names are announced. Supportive chants too, aimed at EVERY Saints player on the pitch!

In many ways this is one of the most important games of the season. Why should we not claim 6 points now and at Forest, statistically avoid relegation and put two fingers up to the FL and the rest of the football world. We are better than they think.

Burnley will be overconfident. At our best we can beat anyone in the CCC.

Let's finish on a buzz.

Do it for Ted. Do it for Allen Ball.

COYR!

If you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves
