SaintRichmond Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 (edited) According to the Daily Rags, we are a few days away from going out of Business ......... ...... As "Business" is the key word, I assume that heralds the return of Rupert "The Saviour" Lowe ..... and an ever increasing spiral into FOOTBALL OBSCURITY ......... Can NOTHING stop the Pariah coming back ??? Edited 27 April, 2009 by Pancake

I agree with you Alpine, the bloke has very limited funds to play about with, it would have to be a collection of his bum chums to bring him back and even then I can't see them giving him any responsibility of the club. I really hope that is true .......... but stranger things have happened ........ he had no money before, but still commanded plenty of backing ......... and as far as I am aware, he still does in "Business Circles"
NickG Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 doubt it would need much, in comparative terms, to just come in and save the day - what needs money is to take it forward. I have no doubt that we will still be here next season, and would be very surprised if Lowe was involved.

As I've said before, on a purely personal level, I'd rather have no SFC than one with Rupert Lowe involved, or in the background, pulling the strings. Just my opinion. If it happens, I'll concentrate on my sailing, and stop watching football completely.
Paul Chuckle Posted 27 April, 2009 Share Posted 27 April, 2009 I am very confident now we have gone to Due Diligence, it costs a potential buyer thousands to go through that or so someone has just told me..........
