Bailey Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11760 Fair play to Wotte for getting on with his job even though there's a good chance that he'll be out of the job soon enough. Whilst I don't believe he's the man to take us forward, he's been saying and doing all the right things of late so full credit to him.
Saints foreva Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 Yeah, fair play to him. Will be interesting who this home fixture is against. Premiership team surely?
Saint in Paradise Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 Surely a L2 team would be better to guage the opposition for the season after this upcoming one ?

Saints foreva Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 Bournemouth away I been told, is one on the cards. Hope this is true. Always a good day out for a pre-season game. Would prefer to get them in the jpt though.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 Fair play to the man. He's definitely been doing all the right things. I've got a lot of respect for the guy. Also agree we need someone British, young and hungry to take us forward, but definitely thumbs up to Mr Wotte for the way he's been handling things in the close season. yellow&blue Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 I would hope that the club have pre-season plans - and Wotte is not part of them. Any manager can say the right things - I just don't think he is the right man for the job.....
Chez Posted 12 May, 2009 Share Posted 12 May, 2009 I presum he has a rolling contract as reserve team boss for the next 12 months, anyone know what sort of contract he has as manager? Wonder if he got a wage rise when he stepped up? I wonder if he was earning more than Jan even as reserve team boss?

Wonder if he got a wage rise when he stepped up? I wonder if he was earning more than Jan even as reserve team boss? If I remember correctly he has a contract as First Team Coach until the end of June or July and if that isn't renewed he is happy to go back the the Academy Director role. Haven't a clue about salary though.
