Totally agree. Davis and Jwp carry 0 goal threat. Will be immensely frustrating if Clasie comes in to fitness and Davis keeps him out.
Romeu should become a regular partner for Wanyama as was Morgan. Romeu looks to be able to pass it as well having a decent shot on him.
Our recent successes have undoubtedly been linked to having a settled team. It will inevitably take time for players to build relationships on the pitch as well as learn each other's game and for that reason, we should try and establish a settled back six.
Cedric----Fonte---VvD----Bertrand
-------Wanyama----Romeu
You can then chop and change the forwards according to gameplan, tactics and opposition.
We almost had the best defence in the league last season and we always had a settled back six irrespective of opposition.
Said it earlier, forget defending, use him for his strengths.
Sit wanyama and Clasie/Romeu behind him, and mane and jrod in front. Let him pick out some passes for those two to run on to and we could have a real recipe for success!
Some may disagree but I would have Ramirez over Davis and 'mr invisible' One Cross Prowse all day long!
Irrespective of how involved he is, he nearly always plays 1 killer pass. He has that in his locker. With Rodriguez slowly coming in to form and Mane with all his willing pace, someone like Ramirez sat behind could work like a slick oiled machine. Definitely an option worth having. I for one certainly hope he gets involved around the match day squad from here on in.
