I thought it was a very good showing from us last night. Obviously there are things that we need to improve on but I thought we played some outstanding football at times. Smallbone was outstanding, controlling the midfield when he came on. The two new signings - Shea Charles and Manning looked good, combined brilliantly for Shea's header Stuart Armstrong is just pure class and lovely finish from him, great to see him back McCarthy made a few good stops but his decision making and distribution are not great. He was at fault for the first goal. Bazanu for me is our number one unless we decide to bring in a new GK.

Yeah fingers crossed he's staying.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. Some really good passages of play and nice finishes too. Delighted to see Adam Armstrong and Aribo score should boost their confidence. Nicely taken goal from Prowsey too the first one was Jan's goal I think. Defensively though we have to improve and Gavin made some good stops but he has to be saving that last one.

I hope we managed to get a reasonable fee for Diallo. I wish Ibra well he always put a shift in. He was certainly better in a midfield three as opposed to a two.

So chuffed for Romeu, was a top player for us and a top class person. Gave us seven amazing years Wish him all the best at Barcelona, he deserves it.

At least we are getting some kind of fee. Always liked Lyanco however wouldn't be guaranteed to be first choice. Don't think he fits in with RM style either.

I thought first half we looked to build up the play from the back too slowly. Much better in the second half. That pitch and surface that we played on was absolutely shocking. Prowsey would 100% have scored that penalty if it weren't for that! The amount of times players were slipping over. Much better in the second half with the changes. Alcaraz - class finish, Lavia - a level above. Aribo and Amo-Ameyaw very good too. Lots to build on ahead of the next friendly - COYR
