  1. Funnily enough, they’re all losing as well.
  2. Or maybe both were wrong. The policing was way OTT, but it should never have happened in the first place.
  3. Proper policing. That would sort these soft middle class idiots out... most of them need a good wash anyway.
  4. Yep, fair comment. I’ve amended. I’m a right leaning centralist I’d say. Probably a nazi to the hard left. I don’t support the actions and narrative of the British first, EDL fools, so it’s the same situation 👍🏻
  5. Yes, daft and insensitive. However, it’s not me doing it... as shown in a more obvious light today. It’s the BLM/Antifa mob once again. Scum.
  6. The section of looney element of the left’s logic, which sums these idiots up: PROTECT OUR WOMEN. DEFUND THE POLICE.
  7. The raised clenched fist and anti police chants, very much linked with BLM and Antifa being banded about. All about this poor girl and nothing to do with political activism though, of course. Just “soppy Londoners and feminists”. I’m excited to see aintforever digging deep into the book of excuses for this one.
  8. Surprised Viera didn’t get the Bournemouth job. I like him, liked him at NY as well. Plays a decent way, which is obviously important. I wanted us to take a look once it became apparent that pellegrino was not going to survive. Not sure what went on at Nice (happy for someone to educate me on that one) and why he doesn’t have a job? I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed if he got a chance.
  9. Howe would jump at the opportunity.
  10. And Police are protecting the Churchill statue. Certainly nothing to do with the left wing lunatics though.
  11. Working with Adams on his finishing I think I saw. I don’t know if he’s in goal whilst Adams is taking shots to hopefully boost his confidence, but perhaps explains why he hits every shot as hard as he can at the keeper...
  12. I think we’ll end up with Howe. Not my choice, seems to fit though. local so he’ll want the job. plays half decent football. Cheap.
  13. I’m sorry but no wins in 12 with some very winnable fixtures in that. It’s impossible to do any worse.

Wouldn’t be a bad assistant... if anything, he might fill a few of these soft pricks in.
  15. If we sacked Ralph, Howe would be sniffing around without a shadow of a doubt. He’d love to manage us. We’re a bit of a shambles, but we are still a premier league club and historically have been seen as a pretty decent club especially if you want to use us a stepping stone. I think managers would jump at the opportunity to get their name in the PL and potentially move on to a bigger club.
  16. Not a thread to discuss if we keep or sack him, but if we do, who would you want to replace? My ideal, but probably unrealistic choices are: Favre Valverde Jardim Gerrard Realistic would be: Potter AVB Frank (from Brentford) Wilder Unsatisfied, but would accept: Howe Lampard
  17. I was watching and the camera panned on to him. He was sat down, and it’s the first time I’ve thought that he looked lost. I think he’s a dead man walking. It’s a shame, he’s a likeable bloke, but it’s not working. Obviously he’s on a huge wage and will get a huge pay off, but I honestly think he wants the best for the club, which cant be said about many of our recent managers, and his pride will take a hammering if things don’t change. If we’re not going to sack him, he needs some help from the bench. Something has to change. regardless of what happens, I’ll wish him all best. I think he’ll succeed somewhere, I just don’t think it’s us under these constraints.

So as well as being a very bad footballer (one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time I think, so so bad), he’s also clearly not the brightest spark. I’m assuming he knows him from the youth squad, but what an idiotic thing to do after today’s performance. Clearly, the modern day player or at least ours, don’t give 2 shits if they win or lose.
  19. The club hasn’t changed since 4 months ago, when we were battling towards the top end of the table. The club is for sale, has been for some time. We have no money at the best of times and covid has meant we have less. Gao is letting Semmens run the club (and I think he’s doing a decent job, considering he has his hands tied behind his back). we’re effectively trying to tread water and stand still (I.e avoid relegation) until we are taken over. If Ralph is unhappy with how we’re run, he can walk. He signed a contract knowing the terms and conditions. Also, what has Ralph done to suggest we should back him? We’ve not won a game in 12. The last manager we ‘backed’ (we spent 20m on a player of his choice) was pellegrino. How did that work out? Ings wants out. Do you blame him? I’m sure other players also would jump at the opportunity to move on. Mainly because of point 2. We are no different now to where we were at 4 months ago. Except our run of massively over achieving has come to an end, as we (the sensible ones on here) knew it would. We’ve been found out and don’t have a plan to change it. To be honest, I’m sick of the excuses. Yes we’ve had a horrible run of injuries. Yes the owner isn’t great, we know that. However, he isn’t the one picking the same side every week in the same system, expecting results to just change. Regarding ‘the silence from the club’, what do you expect? A transcript of the play match debrief or perhaps the board meeting to be streamed on YouTube. What do you expect them to say? 😂
  20. Pretty much where I’m at, I think.
  21. It’s not hard for him to try and mix it up though, is it. Yes our squad is thin, yes we’ve had injuries (I suspect that was due to the managers style, to be honest), yes it’s been a lot of games and bad luck. regardless of the owner (who Ralph signed up to work with by the way), the manager hasn’t helped him self. Too slow to react, too reluctant to change. 12 games without a win is pathetic. Why weren’t there posts of ‘it’s hard for Ralph when we have a clown owner’ when we were top... it’s the same owner.
  22. Got found out when trying the same thing week in week out. Similar to those guys at Sheffield United who just got the sack.
  23. No, selling your best players doesn’t mean your a badly run club. Look at Dortmund or Leicester as an example. We are a terribly run club because we rely on the money we make on selling them to buy the next one and absolutely no leeway to spend elsewhere. To make it worse, we’re losing them for under their true value as their contract is running out. It relies on your transfer strategy being spot on every single time, which simply won’t happen, what ever club you are (but it’s even more risk when you’re shopping in bargain basket, in hope that they’ll develop). Being 100% ‘sustainable’ is all well and good until you have 2 bad windows and no good players left to sale leaving you skint. Shite players on big wages in the championship is not a sign of a well run club and not at all sustainable.
  24. I do have the same concern, although, I don’t think anyone could do any worse than no win in 12.... Given the choice, I’d bin all of the players and start again (baring a coupe), however we do not have the funds to do that.
  25. Wasn’t Hughes first game a FA cup quarter final against a lower league team?
