How much is premier league survival to us? I’m sure it outweighs 20-40m we might get for ings and Vestergaard. And you’re also missing the point. We haven’t said not to sell, just make a stand against Levy who is known for these tactics.

Forster back. Assume he was taken out to prevent his confidence from dropping against city.
-
Tell them they have a contract, which they signed, with us. Until said contract ends, they are an employee of us.... They move on our terms. Not rocket science.
-
At some point you need to make a stand though, otherwise it’ll continue to happen. A lesson kids learn early on in school. Stand up to the bully or continue to be bullied.
-
Cool. Good for them. Still doesn’t make it right though, does it. Let’s hope there’s not a spike in covid cases. No doubt you’ll be blaming the government for not doing enough when there is.
-
Have you considered that they may have plummeted due to a lock down and people not being out on the streets? I agree that the handling was over the top and baiting more violence. The trouble is they let it get out of control the where that was needed to try and disperse. it should never have been allowed to happened in first place.
-
No, but blaming all men for 1 mans action is.
-
I’ll end by saying that it truly sad that another tragic event has been hijacked by the far left to push their ludicrous agenda. Whatever that may be. The real outrage here should be that she was ‘allegedly’ murdered by a police officer. That point seems to be missing in this hate of white men. I bet her family are disgusted.
-
Using speed as an example is a stupid one though, as unless you have the tools, it’s impossible to prove. And when they can prove it (I.e speed camera, you are punished). But yes you’re right, they are empowered to make decisions. The decision is usually made on risk of the offence. Driving at 35 in a 30, pretty low risk. Huge gatherings during a lockdown due to a global pandemic, which were about 2 weeks from being out of, pretty high risk. I think we can both agree that the handling was perhaps wrong, but removing the crowd wasn’t, Imo.
-
Are you seriously suggesting that the police wouldn’t arrest someone if they were driving dangerously and recklessly? Of course they would. But anyway if you’re caught by a speed camera breaking the speed limit, you are literally punished by the law, so I don’t see the point you’re trying to make here. Regardless, We’re not talking a bloke driving a couple of miles and hour. We’re talking thousands of people crammed into park, shouting, during a global pandemic which were nearly out of.
-
No, but they Should they have been dispersed. But we’re talking about the exact same police force (The Met) handling 2 similar situations completely different. In fact, BLM was significantly worse, given the large scale disorder and vandalism they caused, yet they’re on their knees begging for forgiveness whilst last night start steaming into a crowd of women stood around. A better police force would have dispersed the crowds before they get too large.
-
To be fair they were just enforcing the law. You can’t just pick and chose when the law is applicable or not. However, the bigger issues is that that they’re doing exactly that.
-
Exactly my thoughts when I saw it break over twitter. breaking up the protest (that’s what it is, don’t be fooled), is probably the right thing to do given the current climate. However, the fact they let the BLM mob just do what they want leaves a bitter taste. ironically, I bet if you took a sample of both of the protests, they’d largely be the same people.

Our transfer strategy in the late les Reed / Ross Wilson years was a bit bizarre. Just a complete scatter hun approach. Especially bizarre when considering how he’s pretty much nailed it at Rangers. Seems to be improving, but we always go into a season a player short. I feel like we must get used and played by agents in the market to get a better move.
-
Maybe, maybe not. Hasn’t been given a real chance imo. Only played in 16 premier league games, so too early to say ‘he’ll never make it in this league’. 21 goals in 2 seasons (all competitions) for Celtic is a pretty decent return. We’re not going to get a backup who has a better record than that within our budget. It’s clear we need to add quality in certain positions, but if we need to add depth, starting with players that won’t cost us anything is a good place to start.
-
Elyounoussi won’t be first choice (unless he impresses). We’ve not got £15m to spend on a back up and Elyounoussi has done enough at Celtic and previous clubs to be that. I’m pretty sure that the others won’t be in the squad and will be either sold or loaned out again. if keeping Elyounoussi means we can strengthen in other key areas, like full back and up top, I’m all for it. Iirc, Ralph wanted to look at Elyounoussi this season, but Celtic had a take it or we move on offer on the table before we could take a look.

I really hope this curfew comes in. Just for the absolute ‘banta’ when there is a hysterical and hypocritical break down from the left when everyone is identifying as a female, fridge, tree, microwave etc and still roaming the streets. Fantastic stuff.

Spot on. ‘Harassment’ is subjective. One girl will be horrified by a sexual comment whereas another would lap it up. I know loads of women who will flirt with men on a night out, usually the seedy middle aged ones, to get a few free drinks. Whilst we’re on the subject, let’s not pretend that women don’t sexualise men as well. As usual though, he (or she in this case) shouts loudest, isn’t a true representation of the general public.
-
Twitter, as you’d expect, is rife with left wing woke brigade screaming about this one. “it’s not all men, but we can’t tell the difference between the bad and good” is a popular argument for this. Seemly go quiet when challenged if we should Ban all Muslims from public transport and busy city centers. After all, we can’t tell the good from the bad. It’s tragic and sad, but very unsurprising, the the wokists will capitalise on a terribly sad incident to push their pathetic embarrassing agenda. The worst thing about all of this, is that you’re statistically more likely to get killed on your walk home as a man, than you are a women.
-
A real shocking statistic given there are over 1000 genders.
-
What’s this second striker nonsense? We play 2 up top, he has just as many chances to score as ings. Regarding lack of composure, that’s a pretty big thing for a striker. Adams wouldn’t get in to many premier league teams outside the bottom 6.
-
all I’m saying is it’s easy to compliment the other team after you give them a hiding.
-
That was 4 years ago and as I’ve said before, he was before we changed managers. Freak.
-
Of course he was complimentary about Ralph. Ralph came, played a weakened team and tried to beat City at their own game and took a pasting in the process. I bet Pep was rubbing his hands together.
