  1. Personally, I don’t think Ramsey is good enough just yet. Stephens would be my choice probably as well, but he was shocking against Newcastle when RB. Easy to suggest in hindsight, I guess. i don’t agree just a RB missing though. We lost our (imo best) CM, who would also offer us some flexibility and allow us to shuffle someone like JWP to RB. I agree that moving Bednerak from CB seems to have wrecked his confidence though. Looks a shadow of the player he was before hand. Needs some time out the squad.
  2. I think 10M is actually a pretty reasonable offer for him, to be honest. He’s been good without being exceptional. Certainly not a top 4/6 player yet, suits our system and would be a good transfer for both parties. With a heavy sell on fee and/or first dibs on him / buy back fee, I think there is probably a deal to be done. after this season I can see Liverpool spending big to try and wrestle back some power from city.

    Che Adams

Hahahaha shut up you doughnut. He literally blocked a shot from his own player and it dropped at his feet.
  4. Bednerak another fans fav who seems to get away with being very, very average. Thought it for a while, highlighted more so this run.
  5. When you say messing with it, do you mean the time that Vestergarrd was out injured, or the time that Bednerak had to go RB as we had no others (tried Stephens, tried Ramsey, didn’t work)? im sure in an ideal world Ralph would have kept Vest and bednerak together all season. I’m not sure what else he could have done really.
  6. As things currently stand, They can’t score, we can’t defend. They’re probably a slightly better team than us and have been a bit unlucky, their poor rut in front of goal has to end soon and I suspect it will Sunday. 0-2 Brighton I think.

    Time to Bin VAR

You’re absolutely spot on with this. There seems to be so much emphasis on ‘did he touch the ball’ and none on ‘is there enough contact for him to go down’. Either way, last night was about as clear a penalty as you’ll see. It’s not ‘VAR’s fault’ it’s is idiots watching the reply’s.
  8. Add that to the lift of net spend trophy and ‘the pathway’ of most irrelevant things the SWF will list as an achievement.
  9. Yep I noticed this at the time and I’ll be honest, it looks like they’ve given up playing for the manager. Absolutely no fight or passion at all. you could put it down to lack of confidence, but it’s a lack of effort or fear of making a mistake. Never would have said this at the start of the season. Amazing how far we’ve fallen, it really is.
  10. Hahaha really? I thought city were way below par tonight. If they fancied it, it could have been 9+
  11. Said this a few weeks back. No leaders, no fight. shite Mentality throughout the squad.
  12. Read the news about the Jamaican football team pal. Then apologise.
  13. What’s racist about this? Prick

    Che Adams

I’ll try and take a step back and judge him on his merit over the last 2 games. 2 in 2 for him, so can’t complain. Ultimately it doesn’t matter how he put them away, as long as they get put away. Something for him to build on. Second half against Sheffield United he was very good, looked like a premier league player. Tonight I thought he was pretty average and reverted back to his usual self. The pass for the 3rd goal was just brain dead. He took his opportunity (which was offside) very well. A shame it was ruled out as we’ve not seen finishing like that from him. next 5 games are huge for him. Needs to perform and I’ll happily eat my words if he does. I’m not convinced in a months time much will Have changed though.

    Che Adams

Yes, all it takes is for him to gift them a goal which kills the game and for there to be no keeper and he is only 5 yards out. keep working hard though Che.
  16. Started well. Came back from being a goal behind well. Fought (ish) until the end. Unfortunately individual errors have cost us again. The second goal (wtf was adams doing? Seriously) killed the game. I wonder if Ralph too Forster out to save his confidence? But McCarthy isn’t the answer for us. Beaten by the better team, obviously, and 5-2 doesn’t on paper look that bad. That being said, It should had been more. Defensively, absolutely shocking. Bednerak needs some time out of the team, really not up to the level were after at the moment.
  17. Who’d have thought playing players in their actual positions would improve us aye!
  18. Impossible to answer. Had KWP or Diallo played and pulled their hamstring, everyone would slag Ralph off.
  19. Which is exactly why Ralph didn’t play him tonight. He got it spot on.
  20. Given the side we put out, 5-2 isn’t a bad result for us (still 10 minutes to go). ultimately, if we don’t win on Saturday it’ll be for nothing. But I think given the injuries we’ve had, the right decision.
  21. Yes exactly, thanks for proving my point. That is why we’re in deep trouble next season... the players aren’t good enough. starting with Bednerak.
  22. Maybe for 15/20 minutes we’ve ‘out played’ (being generous) them. A game of football is 95 minutes long. 2 goals have been from City’s undoing rather than us to be honest.
  23. No. We are in serious trouble next season.
  24. Have you watched Armstrong tonight?
  25. I wonder if he’s realised that Salisu is Left footed yet and it’s not some tactical master plan.
