7,4,8 last season then? Still swings and roundabouts with the cheaper seats in the wings.
-
Of course it was him, noone else is remotely bothered by it.

As the first home game is in the Europa League I have no idea. Seriously though, the early August games usually see a fair few people on holiday so they often don't sell out, though it's always a bit of a gamble. If I could remember who it's actually against that might help...

Sort of supports my argument that there's plenty of call for Europa League tickets, though admittedly they probably mainly sold out due to the £10 price and the buy early deal encouraging people not to wait for the day. Lusitans must be loving it, when my old club got to the UEFA Cup they got a bunch of part timers from Latvia in front of a few hundred, Lusitans will be playing in front of 35k+ (not that I know whether they'll have done that before).

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying you could get tickets to all home games without membership last season. You can get them to SOME home games without membership this season. Paying the premium just gets you tickets to likely sell outs if you were slow getting them last season, though as there is now membership not having membership moves you further down the queue. Not sure what your point about paying for the cheaper tickets is, with membership and without you can buy cheap or expensive tickets, it's irrelevant.

When the moaning is about one fixture, which happens to be the last home game of any season, which isn't even a fixed date, isn't necessarily even the last match, is usually against different teams, doesn't affect the balance of matches over the whole season, and costs a different amount depending on age, concession status and different area of the ground anyway, you really have to wonder what the point being made is.
-
I don't mind that, as long as they stick to the basics and don't pointlessly jazz it up with daft bonus design features. On the bright side, they don't seem to have many templates that don't get significant tweaks.

When I Googled to check the leak date (yup really) there were a couple of leaky balls threads in the results.

Stop being so bloody reasonable, more rants about stupid shart no-one else cares about is what this place needs.
-
I suspect if he's whining about making one match more expensive (even though it isn't) the spare money to get an ST probably isn't floating around.
-
It'll be interesting to see which, if any, of their games don't sell out... They've got us in their only midweek home match so that solves one problem immediately.
-
Ha, I didn't think of it like that.
-
No one is paying it to get reduced tickets, if they're paying it they're doing so to get tickets that they fear will sell out, nothing to do with prices. If anything you could argue keeping the price low creates the market for membership, but as there will still be plenty of non-sell outs all it is doing is offering people the chance to queue jump to watch likely sell outs.

Quite.

To be fair, we only started it last season. Stoke home in 2012/13 wasn't Cat A.

I am awaiting Kirk from Corrie...

The kids - who will travel to Austria/make the 1st team squad?

McQueen against City reminded me of Pellè in terms of movement and passing choices in midfield, much better suited to the first team formation than Seager. -

He looked good in the U21 Cup Final and absolutely exposed against Man City, totally the opposite end of the scale performance wise, though not helped by tactical naivety in leaving him 2 on 1 with no supporting midfielder to stop City attacking him. -

As long as neither of them have to face Jermaine Beckford... -
New ball was leaked on March 15th,just for the record.

The £25 membership fee is irrelevant to the discussion, there are the same number of tickets available whether it is paid or not.
-
I like to think of it as charging Bournemouth fans a premium they won't have to pay at most Prem grounds this season. And let's face it, as the nearest thing to a derby it'll attract more floaters than any of the Cat B or C games.
-
I will now, and only now, because the Palace match is Cat A, accept that the Villa match last season was only Cat A because they've decided to do this for the last match. However, the 8, 3, 8 breakdown of matches is pretty much in line with last year, and 6,000 tickets are cheaper than last season FOR EVERY SINGLE MATCH so again, no idea what you're complaining about.

Couldn't care less about Seager unless we plan on changing to play 2 up front - he's completely unsuited to the first team's style (similarly to Charlie Austin as it happens) and I feel a bit sorry for him having to play in a target man position when the U21s set up like the first team, because it's clear he's a finisher who thrives on being involved in the box but not so much outside it. On the flip side, I'm keen to see how McQueen does as he looks perfectly suited for the system. I'd like to see Sims to see if he's progressed, and for Reed to get a run around the first teamers (probably later than Austria then) so he can learn what not to do. Gallagher is overdue involvement too. For a team that plays with 2 DMs, we're not really developing them at muchof a rate (Reed being the exception, and he's not quite there yet). All the others who have one or two sub appearances need to make an impact this pre-season or they'll be on the one-way trip to lower leagues which I suspect Isgrove is approaching. If they can develop like JWP that one summer, adding free-kicks and corners practically overnight, they'll give themselves a chance. Not sure we've got any CBs ready to step up (as usual).
