  1. Ken sweetheart... do you think I would be discussing this if I was involved? It does prove that Saints are obviously better shots than P*mpey though, because as far as I am aware there were no injuries to Saints fans. :-) Just read the link, they are all on unconditional bail, so they can go to Wemberrrrrrrrley. Good news.
  2. If you ask most members what things they hate about TSW, threads about football violence and StuRomseySaint will figure highly on their list. Most popular thread of the day by far is........................ .............. a thread regarding football violence posted by StuRomseySaint Let's face it guys, you love me and you love football violence.
  3. Says on the Echo that no plea was entered and they were automatically bumped up to Crown Court. What a complete waste of tax payers money.
  4. Errrrr Speed limits are in place because it is dangerous to drive faster than the stated speed and your actions could cause serious injury or even death... by breaking the speed limit you are doing so in the knowledge that you are increasing the chance of harming someone. I am not sure what your point is... but you are wide off the mark One Bitter.
  5. If you hit someone and seriously hurt them then the charges are raised to reflect it... it's really not a hard concept is it? Do you not get that? If you drive at 40mph in a 30mph zone then you can expect a fixed penalty fine and maybe 3 points. If you are driving at 40mph in a 30 zone and a child walks out infront of your car, and you kill them, you will be charged with death by dangerous driving and the punishment much more severe. I could list you dozens more examples. But I can't be bothered because if you don't get it now, you never will. I am not playing down anything gumbo, simply stating that the punishments are not fair in relation to offences of a similar nature away from football. That's a FACT. As for BadBoySaint, he got bullied in the Zeb Bar one day, went back to Salisbury crying and set up 'Salisbury City Youth' , attacked a load of Saints fans at the friendly in Salisbury, got his head smashed in and nicked, on a banning order now I believe... and has done prison... although thankfully I dont know the fat disgusting creature.
  6. I have a Southampton pin badge.
  7. That post confuses me... it seems to suggest your young son has got someone up the duff and as a result, you are not letting him go to Wembley? Thats a bit harsh fella. :-(
  8. DSM didnt mention whether the other 12 went guilty and reffered to Crown for possible custodials or whether they went not guilty, hence going to Crown Court. Edit: He did. Fair play them going not guilty, the police should invest in a better MP camera.
  9. Oh... you should be Prime Minister, comparing football violence to pregnancy. Thicko. Do you not agree that there is 'minor' and 'major' forms of football violence? Or do you think that the punishment should be the same for someone who sang 'who the f*cking hell are you' to away fans as someone who kicked the f*ck out of an away fan and put him in a coma, or even worse, killed him. You're not very bright are you?
  10. I was about to say, having said that though, I know of people being remanded in custody for the most stupid things. Did the other 12 go Not Guilty then or was their offences seen as more serious?
  11. Did you mean remanded? As in... in custody? Surely not? Remanded on bail?
  12. I am not saying they should moan about getting caught, I am talking about the punishment matching the offence. If you got put in prison for a minor speeding offence, in the same way some people may get put in prison for a minor football violence... would you moan about the punishment?
  13. Course you can... if you got jailed for 6 months for doing 36mph in a 30mph zone, would you moan about the punishment?
  14. Exactly... all the people that say 'ooh I can't take my kid to the game because of the trouble' need to get a grip on reality. You won't ever find trouble if you don't want to. If you have children and parked in Ocean Village and sat in the family centre then you would have been able to enjoy the game without coming within 100 metres of a skate or any trouble.
  15. You live in Norway, therefore your opinion is irrelevent.
  16. Is throwing a stone classed as football hooliganism though? Or is it public disorder? The police seem to use any 'offence' anywhere near the stadium now and class it as football hooliganism just so they can throw the book at them.
  17. I know a couple of them, yes, but I know they all don't drink in certain pubs which some of our more colourful characters drink in. The trouble happened directly outside the ground, so it involved people who were at the game. How on earth can you define if someone is a regular match goer???? You can't! And as for pre-meditated violence, the only people that pre-meditated it was the police, they wanted to get some 'easy nickings' of the Southampton youth, whose numbers are getting too much for them, but none of the usual suspects were stupid enough to throw missiles outside the ground so they have ended up nicking a bunch of nobodys. The police let the skates out at the same time on purpose in my opinion, to cause a reaction so they could get the camera out and make some nickings.
  18. It wouldn't, not would it if it happened at Rugby, at a music festival or any other public event. For throwing a stone or throwing a punch at any of the above you could expect an £80 fine.
  19. As Langley said... out of the 30 or so that have been arrested and charged, none are 'risk element' ... they are all normal fans who let their emotions rule and were naive to do it right in front of police handheld cameras... most have probably never been involved in football violence before in their life. Bit harsh locking them up, don't you think?
  20. Listening to Langley, looks like they are off to Crown and some might even end up with some time in prison, lose their jobs etc etc... for something which would be a slap on the wrist if it happened anywhere else other than football. Seems a bit wrong to me.
  21. Seriously? Crown? Did they go not guilty? If not then why to fook would you send them to crown? Magistrates can dish out a fine and banning order.
  22. Can we get back on topic please? Does anyone know what's happened to them poor lads?
  23. That's rubbish... that's like saying Osama Bin Laden isn't an Arsenal fan just because he has killed a few hundred thousand people... he probably still looks out for Arsenal's results from his cave... which makes him a fan.
  24. Was only a couple of stones... and they were skates after all...
  25. ... anyone know how they got on? Gotta feel sorry for the lads missing out on Wembley, all seems a bit OTT to me.
