  1. Haha... you could look it in a more 'sensible' perspective If you drive whilst on your mobile phone, you get done for careless driving... 3 points and a fine. This is because you 'could' kill someone because of your actions but didn't. If you drive whilst on your mobile phone and have a crash, killing someone, then you are charged with death by dangerous driving and will almost certainly go to prison. So there you have it... throwing a stone of a broken plastic chair which doesn't hit anyone or seriously injure anyone in this situation should probably carry a fixed penalty, by using this method. However as it is football... it will be escalated and put on a par with a serious assault, regardless of the fact that nobody was injured or hurt.
  2. It wasnt a valid statement from Nick, it was a silly one. Man Utd v Villa was a sellout because they both sold out their allocations... as would have our game been if Carlisle had sold out theirs. They did use an identical seating system... half and half.
  3. They won't build a new stadium purely to increase capacity. They will be looking at SFC as a revenue stream... so I have no doubt that the new stadium will have things such as ice rink/indoor arena, hotels, offices, etc etc as part of the development... which will be used to pay for the stadium running costs etc. Whilst they are at it they may as well build for 40,000... when we finally make it back to the Premier League, then there is no doubt in my mind that our support should command a 40k stadium.
  4. I just looked up on Google what altruistic means.... thankyou.
  5. I obviously have tried to do something, and not gone to the papers about it, I come up with a solution where I could provide a segregation arrangements so another 20,000 tickets could be sold, I was only going to charge £250,000 Ticket sales for these seats will be approximately £750,000 and merchandise and food etc will push it towards £1million. Ticket sales meaning each club will also earn an extra £350,000 each. MASSIVE revenue for a club Carlisle... to put in in perspective... thst is the same revenue as more than half their season ticket sales. So for the sake of £750,000 profit for Wembley, SFC and CUFC, I think my offer is a no-brainer, I am awaiting feedback from them. Much more productive way of doing things than giving an interview to the press, I am sure you will agree.
  6. That would explain why he comes across as a bit 'special'
  7. To have witnessed that, as you have stated you had... then you must have been right inside the Freeborn Garage as there was no other vantage points where you could have seen it. What where you doing in there Pilchards? Are you a trouble-maker? Why on earth would you go there if you were not looking for trouble? You are a hooligan... expect the 5 o'clock knock.
  8. Hants OB put 35 skates in prison at 'that' Fratton derby... it's not a 'larf' it's a strong possibility. After all... none of us know what the people they arrested are going to be charged with.
  9. I emailed Wembley Stadium and offered to sort out the segregation by the way of supplying netting and barriers and extra stewards, as long as they paid me just over quarter of a million pounds. I havent heard back from them yet.
  10. Yes... of course you could get kicked out if you went through military law and got court marshalled. What I was saying is that you cannot stand trial in civilian court and face the same charge by court marshall... you can be charged with bringing the army into disrepute however, but the punishment won't be getting booted out.
  11. They wouldn't get kicked out for that, you can't be charged twice for the same offence, once through military and once through civilian, although you can be charged with bringing the army into disrepute... but it won't get you kicked out of the Army.
  12. But the punishments are bigger... not exactly worth doing over an £8 'robbery' is it?
  13. Could be either. I know one thing though... if they were going to keep insisting I was the Chairman of an organisation which doesn't exist... I wouldn't talk to them and to be frank, I would find it a touch embarassing.
  14. Fine... if he still wants his moment in the paper then why not insist he is is describe as simply 'Saints fan Nick' or even 'the former chairman of various formerly failed organisations Nick' ?
  15. I find myself agreeing with you, stinky. Anyone who thinks someone warrants prison or lengthy community service for returning a stone/missile which was thrown at them is deluded. I was stood out on the road when all the events were happening in the garage and I didn't see anything to write home about. Couple of stones, couple of bricks ( which were originally thrown in by the skates ) The smashed windows etc were caused by skates throwing missiles in at Saints fans from what I could see. But anyway... nothing really happened of note, yes the criminal damage that happened ( which was very limited according the the videos ) , there were no injuries, nobody was hurt and I have yet to see a punch being thrown in ANY video etc etc But now people will one or all of go to prison, do community service, banned from football for 3 years, lose their jobs etc etc... all over what in anything other than football, would result in a fixed penalty at the very most.
  16. Do none of you understand??? THERE IS NO SUCH ORGANISATION AS THE SAINTS TRUST!!!! IT NO LONGER EXISTS!
  17. How the fook is he still releasing statements as part of the Saints Trust?
  18. With respect Mr DSM... which would anyone have been in the garage if they didn't want to be involved? Oh ok, just read it again... that's a fair one... but as for the others...
  19. Minibus? Pah... 3 coaches going from the Luzborough / Bedes.
  20. You saw some footage of ONE plastic chair being thrown over a fence, a couple of rocks and stones being exchanged between both sets of fans is hardly unusual, especially for a derby game. Lets put it into perspective... West Ham v Millwall there was 19 arrests... it looks like there will be at least double the amount from our game...
  21. No... but it might be as trivial and being a bit of a mong, it might be washed up CCTV footage etc etc... Anyway... one thing I have never understood is when they do one of these 'operations' is why do they insist on doing the '5 o'clock knock' to catch the offenders... it's not like anyone is going to be armed or dangerous, or that they need to collect any evidence or something over a few stones being thrown is it?! Especially when they could easily pick up the 'identified' ones at the Leeds game... Never understood that one.
  22. Have you had access to the video footage then?
  23. Well yes... it states in the papers that they want to 'talk' to the people in the pictures... by handing themselves in they are not pleading guilty, they are simply complying with a request you plank.
  24. If I was them I would plead not guilty... case won't be heard until June. Happy days. Wembley here they come!!!
  25. Give me 60p you *****... Could have been sorted out in a Magistrates, £100 compensation to each victim, job done. Not waste thousands of pounds taking it to Crown Court... I accept that the second bloke must have been on tag or had a suspended sentance to warrant being held in custody... or at least i fookin well would hope so!
