  1. Haha... It would be old news if I didn't see this 'organisation' involved with 'events' like Silverspoons. It would be old news if I didn't see statements and interviews on behalf of the Saints Trust in the news almost daily. In all honesty... don't you think that the fair and proper way would be to close down the organisation properly? Publish transparant accounts etc... Yes people did give money to the Trust, and events etc were organised and sponsorship etc... what happened to all that money? Where shares purchased with all the money?! Where they?! I will shut up about the Trust when I stop seeing the fookin name in the papers.
  2. So it's been a year to the day since we went into administration. Have any of the 'members' heard back from the Trust as to... a) What has happened with their shareholding? b) What is happening with the members money sat in the Saints Trust bank? c) When the next AGM is? The last activity seems to have been about 4 months ago and was just a blog? Yet I keep seeing references to Saints Trust in the papers and the news most days, so it must still exist, surely?
  3. Most drivers also tend to 'turn a blind eye' to people drinking in exchange for a few quid...
  4. I have a problem with anyone claiming to be 'Chairman of Saints Trust / SISA / COYR' or any other organisation which does not exist. It's nothing personal against Nick, I don't approve of any of the Saints Trust or 'usual crowd' ... I put up with Steve Grant because he's not a bad bloke when he's not being a geek and is someone i know personally. I would love to have sympathy for Nick, but when you are happy to be such a public figure when things are going good... be prepared to be shot down when things go wrong. There is no personal vendetta... N.I / Saints Trust / SISA and other the other uber fans f*ck things up time and time again, it's more about publicity than any other reason.
  5. It is legal to drink on coaches for anything apart from football. It is illegal to drink on any for of hired transport en-route to any football match.
  6. Seriously, I think the golden paintbrush would actually be quite funny and show us to have a good sense of humour if they were put on the kits for Monday.
  7. http://www.thisishampshire.net/news/6242698.Marwell_meerkats_set_for_the_high_life/ Surely this is Echo's effort? Rubbish.
  8. I saw a certain Steve Grant signing up at David Lloyd yesterday, I think he wants to be just like me.
  9. I am forever spouting my opinion... yes... on a messageboard, to peoples faces, but not to the press! lol When I have arranged things before I have never claimed to be doing it 'for the fans' , it's either been to sort my mates out, because I wanted to do it, or to line my own pockets with some profit. That's the difference. I nearly threw up when I read the marketing article claiming that our charitable friends had worked tirelessly for Saints fans etc... if it was indeed for the fans then I am sure that every penny of the profit will be going to Danny Wallaces charity? Won't it?
  10. Has anyone got a good contact of a cheap printers for design/printing of A5 leaflets? I have been dabbling in a bit of small business development and have taken on a Beauty Salon on with next to no marketing budget... Anyone work in the printing game?
  11. If we lose on Thursday then I won't be going to the game on Monday. I will be going for a walk in the New Forest with Turkish. xx
  12. Is his hand better yet?
  13. I will say one thing almost in support of Illingsworth's statement. As a supporters base, we are known as a complete bunch of p*ssheads... especially when travelling away, which is one of the main reasons why we are a Cat C team, not really to do with our casual reputation. Think about how many grounds we visit where the bars are closed at half-time... So it is no surprise that they might have been slightly taken by surprise... the landlord at the Green Man also said it was very busy ( which it would be, remember there was almost 20,000 extra fans on our side of the stadium to what they would normally expect ) ... but he had been liasing with me for the previous couple of weeks about arrangements, what beer to stock etc etc and seemed alot better prepared.
  14. Yes everyone was good for their money on the day. There is nothing wrong with your beer-swilling pensioers, it's the grumpy old ones that many people don't want to associate with on their matchday experience... as for students, the majority are a bunch of absolute chumps who can't handle their beer... so I will be charging them a £40 soiling charge prior to departure so I don't have to get it at the end of the day.
  15. It will more likely be £15... but £9 groupsave is not a bad deal to be fair.
  16. Not really... the can't tell you when to leave Southampton... they can't stop you having a comfort break on the way home either.
  17. Club is expecting 21-22k unless sales massively pick-up.
  18. Well I will pilot it for the Yeovil and Gillingham games this season... then look at doing it for most away games next season if it works. Also going to look at other sporting events as well, such as cricket, golf, darts, England games etc... There doesn't seem to be much in the way of packages to these events in the local area...
  19. Fair one... having said that, I won't stop 10 times, maybe Shirley and Lordshill if the demand was there... both stops are en-route... so not like some coaches which go to Eastleigh/Winchester which to be honest, the few times I have used them, have ******ed me off big time. But yeah, I will take that on board and say there is the opportunity for a pickup in Shirley Precinct or Lordshill Centre if demand dicates, this will only add 5 minutes on to the journey.
  20. And to my knowledge there was not a single other venue charging to get in... another thing claimed on their marketing.
  21. Right... this is the possibility for Yeovil Game... · 8:30am Pickup Southampton Central Train Station · 8:45am Romsey ( Luzborough House ) · 9:15am Salisbury ( Possibly ) · Arrival Yeovil · After match Depart Yeovil ( to include a 1 hour stop at a pre-designated Pub around half way back on the A303 ) · Drop-offs back at Salisbury, Romsey and Southampton. The price will be somewhere between £15 and £20 ( depending on how confident from initial interest that I can fill it ) , there will be student prices available which will be charged at a premium of £40, the route from Southampton to Romsey will be down Shirley High Street, Lordshill, Rownhams and North Baddesley and we will pick up along this route as well. This coach has a toilet... lesson learnt! What would peoples thoughts be on this?
  22. Neil Ruddock took my scarf at the ZDS Final - FACT
  23. He might have expected... - Cheapest beer within 5 miles of the stadium - Lies, it was £3 a FRESH pint in the Green Man. - To see some ex-Saints players - There was none. - Promised no queue - People waiting up to 30 mins. - To be closer to the Saints end - 50m from the stadium? Yes... easy to get to and from pre and post match? No, not if you are in the Saints end. There's just a few examples.
  24. Haha, never!!! This is a business venture!!! Nothing more, nothing less!!!
  25. If you have 50 under 18's that are interested in a bus then let me know and I will hire a yellow school bus and you can play in the park whilst the men drink.
