Exactly.... Wembley should be for Cup Finals and Cup Finals only, not Semi-Finals, not Play-Off Finals... Nowadays nearly every professional footballer has played at Wembley, which is wrong.
-
No excuse for any club not to sell out a final, if we went 2 times a year, every year, I am sure we would shift 32k tickets.
-
I have bagged myself a very skinny, very fit blonde... so fattys are OUT!!! :-)
-
Oh, and he has also posted that all outgoing transfers have been settled apart from £1.5m for Gary O'Neill. LMFAO, so they have spunked ALL the money from the sales of... Diarra Benjani Muntari Defoe Johnson Distin Crouch Krancjar Kaboul Begovic

This is some of the text from the Pompey Online Admin Has my view on him changed - Difficult to answer this without saying too much about the situation, so will duck out of this one. How much are we in debt? - Approximately 100m, broken down as; £32m Gaydamak Trust £5m Al Fahim £1.8m Al-Faraj £5m General creditors £17-£18m HMRC (£9m disputed) £16-£17m Football creditors £14m Portpin £8-£9m Agents (to be confirmed) CVA - Creditors meeting in next four weeks to agree CVA Why is he determining future strategy - Not asked directly but basically said that they have to plan the club accordingly to make sure it is a going concern going forward. Main priority is to make sure we have a club. How many interested parties - Mentioned the twelve or so original parties, but said that most of them couldn't even get the £5 million original fee together, and Cattermole even wanted his flights from new Zealand paid for by the club. Rob Lloyd group is only realistic group as things stand today Has anyone else provided proof of funds - Two groups provided POF but he wasn't happy with one of them. Two groups merged into one. (Sorry another phone call, so will hurry this up) Rob Lloyd - Is happy that proof of funds is there but needs convincing/confirmation about the structure of the backers. Chainrai - Is very much a Plan B, Plan A is to sell to another buyer, we put across the concerns. March's wages - Paid for by revenue produced by club Forensic examination has started.
-
Well I think that confirms that they will start next season on at least -15, not a hope in hell of them finding someone to stump of £75m to keep everyone happy.

The non-drinking bit is easy, not had a drop, even went to the pub all over bank holiday weekend and had soft drinks. Dropped half a stone already in the first 11 days. Been to the gym everyday... although played football tonight and pulled/torn me fookin hamstring so can hardly walk at the moment. So looks like diet is going to have to step up a gear as I doubt I will be able to to the cardio work I need to, so upper body and diet. Looking to lose at least a stone in the next month. The 40 days finish on about the 15th... so as a reward to myself, I have booked a 3 day all-inclusive break to Magaluf ( £130 all in... bargain ) I am hoping this will give me a bit more motivation to diet and exercise more before the belly comes out on the beach. So far, so good. Don't feel massively better for it though... which is strange.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeey, my first bit of breaking news on this thread. Their 'trust' had a meeting tonight to discuss things, and they have released the breakdown of the debts... £32m Gaydamak Trust £5m Al Fahim £1.8m Al-Faraj £5m General creditors £17-£18m HMRC (£9m disputed) £16-£17m Football creditors £14m Portpin £8-£9m Agents (to be confirmed) Oh dear!!! They are dooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!!!

So are we now saying that there is only one chance of saving P*mpey and that's Michael Wilde the 2nd? And if he doesn't come up with the goods then I assume there will be no buyer buy the start of next season so they will have more sanctions and penalties imposed? I just can't see how anyone other than a die-hard super-wealthy, fan would invest in PFC... and to my knowledge, I know of no super-wealthy P*mpey fans. As a business venture it's plain to see that there is no return on this business and the figures just don't add up to be a viable investment. They are not a Premiership side anymore, they will not be a 'well-supported' Championship side and there is the very real possibility they will start next season on -15 which will have them as favourites for relegation to league one. Why would anyone buy them? I really can't find a reason, even when I do take my SFC-hazed glasses off...?
-
Still plenty of tickets left! MASSIVE support. I can't wait to hear C*rpys excuse on not being able to shift 30k Wembley tickets... we could have sold 70-75k Wembley tickets for our tinpot trophy day.
-
O.K. That's a fair one. Thinking about it, we are a bunch of racists in Romsey... and it's the older ones that are worse. I would imagine that BNP and UKIP giving it a good enough run this election, so that people will not see it as a wasted vote, and will look to push on at the next elections.
-
I can see the BNP ( and UKIP ) making real headway in this election, with the possibility of quite a few seats. What are peoples thoughts on this? Also, where/when is a list of candidates announced? I assume that BNP won't bother standing in Romsey?

Two firefighters die in Southampton blaze...

Me myself and I ( and the rest of B Company, Princess of Wales Royal Regiment ) -
And that argument of C*rpys doesn't stand up either... if it was down to price of tickets, then surely the £20 tickets would all be sold out???? Hmmm I am sure I see them areas of the ground week in, week out.

When Princess Diana died I was on the T.V outside Westminster Abbey lining the route. -
They are talking about Alan Sugar being the sole investor on some forums. LMFAO

We were given extra and also Club Wembley ( which was almost exclusively SFC ) ... A Wembley spokesman said the official figure was something like 51,148 ( there is a link somewhere ) Also, if you look at the segregation, it's easy to see we had more than half of the 90k capacity stadium.
-
They are now trying to desperately get rid of FA CUP SEMI FINAL tickets by giving them to anyone and everyone who is on the database... and still not selling them. 32,000 as well. Now here we can draw a comparison... we took 51,000 to a paint pot trophy against Carlisle, they are struggling to get 30k to and FA Cup Semi-Final against Spurs. How many tickets could we sell in the same situation? At least double imo.
-
Can you retract my infractions now please Steve as it's obvious to all it was his fault?
-
This was there original selling plan. Wednesday, March 24: South stand upper season ticket holders Thursday, March 25: North stand upper season ticket holders Friday, March 26: Jobsite Stand (Fratton end) season ticket holders Saturday, March 27: North stand lower/south stand lower season ticket holders Monday, March 29: Pompey Blue members Tuesday, March 30: Supporters who have purchased tickets for three or more home games during the 2009/10 season A week on restricted general sale and they still haven't sold out so yesterday they allowed people who were on the database to buy tickets. Still no sell-out. So today they are letting STH's buy another 2 tickets each. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/latest-news/Wembley-Tickets-Update-796.aspx :-)
-
Corpy... it's looking likely you won't sell-out your 30,000 allocation for an FA Cup Semi-Final Meanwhile we took 51,000 for a tinpot trophy. What are your thoughts on this?

Do you think that providing a service 25% less cost than Saints Travel Club is ripping people off?
