  1. Seriously, what exactly can you see that I can't? I don't see the police doing anything apart from standing there. I see some fence rattling which results in part of the fence collapsing and I can pick out 2 police officers using camcorders. Are you looking at something different because that's exactly what I see?!!? Come on DullDays.... enlighten me....
  2. That is EXACTLY what they done DullDays. Letting both sets of fans out at the same time and making no attempt to prevent disorder at any point throughout the day, instead sitting back and watching, armed with cameras.
  3. I seriously can't believe how utterly pathetic some of our fanbase were. A few FACTS 1) None of those arrested are people who a regulary involved in disorder, they are normal fans / scarfers / clowns / whatever you want to call them who normally wouldn't get involved in disorder. 2) NOBODY was injured. 3) Some of them are being taken to court for things as simple as shaking a fence. If you shook a fence anywhere else you might get £80 fine. If you threw a stone of plastic chair at someone, you might get an £80 fine... Punishment should fit the crime. Even if they are found guilty, they deserve no more than a banning order and a fine. Some of you on here calling for them to be put in prison for 5 years and the rest of their lives ruined are absolute c*nts of the highest order and just trying to come across all high and mighty from your PC.
  4. You are absolute scum if you think that shaking a fence warrants putting people in prison for 5 years. Scum.
  5. FOOTIE RUMOUR JUST IN................... Gerrard moving abroad in the summer because his wife's havingan affair with a Derby County player and he's got a 16 year old pregnant, and she's keeping it. Apparently everyone in Liverpool has already accepted that she's going. He's in court at the moment trying to stop it all coming out so Capello doesn't kick him out of the world cup squad. Is spreading like wildfire around the forums...
  6. Yep, real shame. To be fair, locking the lads who done it up serves no purpose whatsoever, they were just naive Saints fans who obviously didn't think about the consequences of throwing missiles etc with OB stood in front of them filming. I am convinced it was all a setup though, why on earth would they let P*mpey out at the same time as us otherwise? It was absolutely 100% blatantly obvious what was going to happen... even a complete div would realise that. And when it was kicking off... why didn't they move in and nick people? Because they wanted as many people on video as possible and were happy to sit back and let it happen. Funny as f*ck that all they achieved out of it was nicking a load of face-painted goons. Good work Hants Constabulary, a great £1million or so of tax-payers money you spunked up the wall over a non-event.
  7. Even if they do push for custodials ( which I don't see how they are going to do if it is fair and consistant policing ) then they will be locking up scarfers who have never been involved in any football disorder and never would again. NONE of Southamptons 'risk' were nicked... so their plan on effectively inciting a riot by letting Saints and Pompey out together backfired as they didn't get anyone who was on their radar.
  8. I thought that Gaydamak kept the land around the stadium when he sold the club and the other unsecured debts are seperate. Either way, nobody is going to take a punt on that with so many other clubs available with much better infrastructure, fanbase and long-term prospects. The thing is with the skates that they don't seem to understand is that the ONLY reason they were in the Premiership for 7 years was because they were living well beyond their means, they cheated the system and spent money they didn't generate to buy them success... ... they do not have the fanbase to be a consistant Premiership team. They are a mid-table Championship team at best in terms of 'club size' . If they are living within their means then they will remain in the Championship for the long-term, they might get lucky and have the odd season in the Premiership, but the Championship is their level. I just don't get why the skates would think anything different.
  9. There is no way ( or at least there shouldn't be ) why the Football League and FA will allow a team to come out of administration still carrying debts. I wonder what planet that muggy little c*nt is on sometimes. Next he will be saying he is going to appeal the -9 points and decision not to allow them in the Europa League.......... oh..........
  10. I didn't even put in the £20m or so they will need to rebuild the squad to make it competitive in the Championship... or just to give it a hope of overturning the -points. Anyone who buys them is going to be completely stupid... someone with more money than sense would buy Liverpool, Newcastle or a Championship London club... not P*rtsmouth.
  11. So in very simple terms. Anyone who buys the club will need... - A minimum of about £40m just to get their hands on the club. - Another £10m or so to get the land around Fratton to allow redevelopment. - About £30m to redevelop Fratton MINIMUM - Another £10m for a new training ground. In return they will get a club with no training ground, limited fanbase, a shed of a ground, in the Championship on -? points... Wow... I bet the businessmen and investors are fighting to be at the front of the queue for that.
  12. No.... the debt managed to 'grow' just enough to ensure that HMRC only had 24% say on the CVA board, so couldn't block it and cost P*mpey more points.
  13. Not decades, EVER. Our best winning run EVER in ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE YEARS, is 6... we needed to win 8 on the bounce. Mind you, the club still believe... their management have this on their email signature... Gotta love their optimism...
  14. It was a setup from start to finish, and if the Police were honest with themselves, it wasn't a success. Their plan was to get enough evidence to wipe out Southamptons Casual and Youth elements... make loads of nickings and set an example. It is common knowledge that not a single 'risk element' was actually arrested and the ones that were arrested were just normal fans who got a bit over-excited... none of them have probably been involved in any sort of disorder before.
  15. That is a very good point, the lads who stamped on the head of the Yeovil fan got suspended sentences. I very much doubt they are 'pushing for custodials' , sounds more like someone is trying to be ITK... Violent Disorder though carries a 5 year max sentence, which means they can do what they like, depends on the judge on the day. Because the cases will be high profile, they might look to set and example, I hope not though.
  16. They did go to Wembley, well some of them did I have heard. Also, the reason it has gone to Crown is because they went Not Guilty... I would say that's due to the images being very grainy CCTV images of which has next to no legs in court.
  17. I didn't say they should be given war medals. A Blue Peter badge maybe?
  18. Yes, and on 36 minutes ON THE DOT in the first half... for anyone who sits in 42 by the aisle nearest the segregation, you will probably notice the stream of people heading down to the bar at this exact time every game.
  19. Well let me be the first to wish them all good luck, if it's a choice between Saints fans and the CPS then I hope all Saints fans unite. As someone said, they went to war against the enemy and should get medals, not banning orders. COYR's
  20. Any news on them? Alot of them went not guilty. Hopefully they all get off the charges as it wasn't really much to get nicked for. At least they all managed to get to Wembley.
  21. It is not competition for them... it is a late night delivery service charged at a premium when people are p!ssed and have more money than sense. Delivering beer to p!ss-heads all over Southampton when they roll in from the pubs, realise there is no shops open and no booze in the fridge.
  22. Do any of you use this in the Southampton area? I am 'thinking' about starting this up, infact I had the business plan a few years ago... but didn't take it any further as I had other things on, it now seems there are quite a few in the area. Do any of you use them? I don't think they promote themselves well enough though as until I Googled, I did not know they existed. Nice little money maker and as there are a few companies already set up, the business license should be straight forward.
  23. Seriously, you are joking right? I bet your girlfriend dumped you 3 years ago and you still wait for her to text and tell you that she loves you.
  24. Pardew is on record as saying the players he is buying this transfer window will be top quality players who are good enough to get us into the Premiership, regardless whether we got promoted this season or not. I have no doubt that regardless of who leaves, we will start next season with the best players in their respective positions in the league. I think we are in for an exciting season.
