what is wrong with that , just basic common sense. -
Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away

been very busy today and only just caught up with this thread. With both Wotton and Skacel, by different means, expressing major dis-satisfaction with the club management i think it has signed our trip to Division 3. I cannot see any senior players wanting to come here on loan to a club in complete turmoil. I see of the lowe brigade are uttering comments about not wanting them here, and we are better off without them. Utter rubbish we could do with 4 more experienced players and we might then just have a chance of escaping but they could fill smug as we pass our way sideways , backwards and to relegation. 11 conference players with a british manager would put up more of a fight than lowes babies led by the dutch, never achieved anything in management, -
that makes him ideal for us because most of our signings are injured
-
who is this Pulis ? does he even exist?
-
yet to see any evidence that he is a good coach. not really seen any improvement in any player this season

Would you BOYCOTT? Ways to get rid of Lowe and the board
70's Mike replied to Wes Tender's topic in The Saints
nothing to do with purse strings, rupert just wants to pull ALL THE STRINGS. only fly in the ointment has been that it has not worked, if it had he would have been leading the pre game warm ups by now -
agreed about that challenge but i was talking about the game in this country in general, yellow cards are handed out like confetti and players end up getting sent of for 2 petty fouls.
-
called assesors in the stands, the biggest factor in ruining the modern game, refs cannot apply common sense anymore because they will be marked badly
-
Surely we're not that far from having a decent team
70's Mike replied to ExSt Peter Saint's topic in The Saints
big difference is that ALL DUTCH sides get the ball down and pass it all the time, the problem is the other nasty 23 sides in the CCC do not let us play that way . actually not true , they do let us play that way between the 2 penalty boxes -

Good last paragraph. -
not going , neither of two sons want to , so can not be bothered
-
you do not have to pay deferred taxation , it is just an accounting convention for tax that you might one day , in a hundred years, have to pay . very few companies ever do as long as they continue trading. oh well may be we will have to pay
-
it was not the losing but the manner of the defeat. Our style of play just made it easy for united, to try and match them for football skill was plain stupid. Both Southend and Gillingham showed that you need to get in their faces and push players onto their back 4, even when we had 11 we still passed it square and backwards.
-
Same with my 14 year old, not sure if the 21 year old will and as for this 55 year old. Well i hate to say it but if we get relegated and Rupert is still there then the answer is NO. Not sure if we stay up but after watching yesterday and the complete lack of effective tactics then the likihood of staying up is getting less and less
-
Because like Dyer we have given him a contract and will now look to loan him to a CCC rival
-
BIT OF A RED HERRING BECAUSE any potential buyer would know true figures, so the question remains WHY NOT US ?
-
agree with most of that except 2nd sentence. we do not know if we could have found a suitable buyer in the good times, because we do not know if rupert was looking or even prepared to look
-
Southend were playing Chelsea
-
totally agree. Did Southend or Gillingham roll over. cheap players are out there but if you make your chief criteria for signing someone the ability to pass it square then we are doomed
-
probably but another 20 nil nil's would get us 20 points at least. please rupert get someone over 25 who is over 6foot and LIKES TO head the ball along way, please do not get a player who can pass it along the back four
-
exactly first time i have seen him tackle anyone
-
Agreed i totally blame the Management set up . Could job Southend, Hartlepool and Gillingham are not coached by Dutch "pass it sideways" coaches
-
if "admirably" was under 17 he would have got a game
-
nor will we if the first thought is "who can i pass it to who is square of me"
-
Rupert was never going to get any flack today BUT A SIMILAR performance against Donny and ??????????????
