2 wins from 10 is surely a lot less than even the most negative Saints fan would have exepcted? Has to improve results fast. In isolation you can be unlucky but over the 10 games so far we just havent played well enough, shwon enough cohesion and progression and ultimately have been left with a massively below par points tally. Got to go on a run of wins or he will be under massive pressure come next Intl break.

I would have gone back four but its a very strong team for this level with ridiculous bench options. No more excuses, must win and start playing with some in possession patterns.

Steele has signed a new contract at Brighton so we could go for James Needle instead. Hasnt played for a few years but alongside Osmajic's bite it would make us nastier to play against.

Got to revert to a back 4 IMO, it is what the summer recruitment was done for. Get Fellows, Azaz and Scienza in the positions they have excelled in and put Arma up front as he has to play. Alternatively Arma for Fellows and Archer up top. Either way, our season rests on getting the best out of Fellows, Azaz and Scienza and to increase the goal output from those positions.

Judging by the usual cliché on here we should be bringing in Jason Steele, Osmajic from Preston and might as well add Steve Gritt to the coaching staff.

The coaches know if players are ready, technically, physically, tactically, mentally. The gap between being a top player in the U18 league vs the Championship or PL is absolutely huge, as proven by multiple Saints Academy lads who have cooked at youth level and then failed to even make it in the National League. If someone is seen as being ready I am sure they will get a chance. If they arent ready then it does way more harm to the player than good.

Its wide open, so our slow start hasnt really cost us. Fixture run in Oct & Nov shows nothing to be scared of so fully expect us to be in the top 4 by end of Nov and hopefully top 2. Lower than that and its very poor considering our squad.

Same points after 8 games as we had under RM. Wouldn't it be awful now if Still manages a club unbeaten run stretching until after Christmas but which contains a few draws?

Clever to have left ourselves with PL loan spots free. Thats usually where the value is in January.

Must be some doubt over whether Dawson will play Championship cricket next season? Feels like recruitment of a frontline spinner is key over the winter as surely the other remaining overseas slot has to be taken by a batter (or likely multiple over the season).

Guessing Dawson will go white ball only for next season, especially now England hopes are over. At least Abbott should clean up in Div2, although he certainly doesn't deserve relegation. Will need to sign a Gareth Berg type reliable seamer who has a bit with the bat.

Just have to hope that GMR place full trust in Giles White for a rebuild...

Everything in football is a one year cycle now as there is so much change of players and managers so if we don't go up this season then anyone good gets taken. The idea of having a season to build just doesn't exist unless perhaps for a team promoted from L1 who are trying to stabilise like Charlton say. With the squad we have there is zero excuse if we are not in the mix for autos. Yes we had change but so did everyone else and we had money to fund ours.

Wouldn't fancy a chase of anything over 150 really. They have a nice partnership going for now... Its not going to be a draw so its win to stay up or lose and go down.

Will certainly be a result then! Next 2 hours of play will probably decide the game...

Arma has to play as the only player who really looks like scoring. On the basis Jander is injured.

Looked very good last night and physically able to compete with fast, powerful players. Like that his first instinct is to defend and do the nasty, niggly, boring stuff a good CB does. Think he deserves to be a starter and we need to up our double-barrel quota.

Regardless of ability he also looks so low on confidence and afraid of receiving the ball. Manning was into him the whole time he was on the pitch as nothing was sticking to him at all. Shows how little Still rates Stewart too.

Been pretty good this season overall I think. Certainly not one of the main issues facing the team at the moment.

Does anyone subscribe to this and have any feedback? He certainly seems to put out quite a lot of content and is close to the club/squad. The club coverage is pretty limited apart from the X updates during matches.

Getting rid of him is ludicrous but demanding better and being angry at the pwasted opportunity is absolutely fair.
