he's a really good player, which is why Perraud don't get a game, even with a left foot. But I don't think he's remotely as effective as when he's on the right.
-
can play like turd so long as we win.
-
yep. The Shearer one is a good comparison. If Chelsea can't see it, it because they are blinded by the money spent on their first team strikers.
-
i don't get this rust thing. He's been training with Wimbledon every day. so should be sharp as a tack, but he's just old. McCarthy is miles better. I'd take Forster too. When is he gonna be fit? Is he really injured or has he just downed tools?
-
but for the out of the blue goals, it was a shit show 1st half
-
yep. Has everything you need, pace power and goal scoring boots. If his goals keep us up, his price will be through the roof.
-
we've been desperate for goals out of nowhere...and we get two in five minutes. Long way to go though...
-
Boom. What a goal...and Derry would have him paying left midfield. 🤦♂️
-
YESsssssssss...what a fucking goal that is. COYR.

not a fan?

better. Nice fast one touch break. COme on saints...
-
put a couple of passes together. Small steps...

maybe, just maybe, one of our players could win a fucking header from one of them. More than happy to see Redmond float the odd ball across, but Ings scored several goals from JWP corners. Why cant anyone else?
-
KWP on the right instinctive, purposeful and direct. on the left, muddled, hesitant and ineffective. I understand why he's playing there, Perraud ain't rated by Ralph, and Tino has had a good first half the season, but its annoying seeing KWP talent wasted.
-
this is horrible. I start typing one moan and then another thing annoys me. Jesus H christ smallbone. What the fuck is that?
-
Fucking shite. Shit pass by Salisu killed us. Looked like it may have been a foul though. Lyanco didn't do much wrong. Looked very easy though for Zaha. The goal looks massive with Willy in it. Beaten near post. McCarthy would be strung up for doing that.
-
I'd of gone with KWP. Lyanco has not impressed me at all. Hopefully tonight is the night.

is that a 4-3-3? Is Stephens injured?
-
we sure do, and you never know, goal difference might be the difference
-
He's our best centre forward, offering arial ability, strength, pace and goalscoring ability. You say it yourself, he our best finisher, so why one earth have him tracking back all game. So no, it not obvious, it's actually the complete opposite. It's a very left field solution. Not one that I agree with either, but then again, what do I know. Put in on the Palace thread and see what others think.

Now, Field Marshall Hasenhuttl has formulated a brilliant new tactical plan to ensure final victory at Selhurt Park. Ah. Would his brilliant plan involve 4-2-2-2, a high press and attacking very slowly towards the opposition? How could you possibly know that, it's classified information? It's the same plan that we used last time and the 17 times before that. Exactly and that is what is so brilliant about it. It will catch the watchful Eagles totally off guard. Doing precisely what we've done 18 times before, is exactly the last thing they’d expected us to do this time. There is however, one small problem. That everyone always gets knackered in the first 20 minutes? That’s right and field Marshall Hasenhuttl is worried that this may be depressing the men a tad. So, he's looking to find a way to cheer them up. Well his resignation and suicide would seem the obvious Interesting thought, make a note of that Darling.

I'm sure people on here were saying what a nightmare situation Palace were in, with them only having about five players signed to contracts. Looks like that ability to start a fresh, all be it quite a few contracts were renewed in the end, hasn't hurt them too much. Adding a high energy player in Gallagher has really helped them. Boy, could we do with our own high energy payer (S Armstrong) back to give us some much needed pep. In the recent past we have gone to Palace and somewhat unexpectedly dominated, and I am hoping we can do that again, but confidence is going to be low after Saturday. As always, Zaha will be a major threat and I think KWP ought to get that marking job. Great to have Salisu back. Someone has to stop Benteke getting those `easy' headed goals. If we want to survive, getting some away pojnts/draws are going to be needed.

Play Broja at left midfield? Blimey. Those organisational problems are solved.
-
crap keeping or not, we were very lucky it wasn't five or six. Two off the post, some crucial last ditch blocks and they spurned a few extremely good chances on the break.
-
he changed his garb at half time. Wish our side could change for the better after the break.
