Brentford not known for giving away their star players
-
If Long is the only other option, then perhaps you'd need to reconsider. Back to the original question, do you drop him (like we did Hoj) and who do you pick? The adopting the formation throughout the club is the new black box for me.
-
Like the all red design a lot, less so the black, the yellow is decent top. I'd much prefer a new shirt like that, which has a very solid design to repeating or rehashing the `Denmark' design as they did with Coventry. Not convinced by the stripes design, but Hummel will get it right I'm sure.

good point. I'd say the rest of the season. Can't see big money moves happening in Jan. Can't see him signing now he has said he wants CL.
-
Depends if we play one or two up top. If we play one, then Ings first choice, Adams second.
-
I'd expect so. That money would come in handy to pay Ings, or get a free transfer like Omar Richards this summer.
-
good point, but we had Romeu playing well. Who is the replacement this time, Adams?
-
he cares about his investment, but Premiership survival is all that has ever been required for the owner to ensure that investment pays off, with the value if clubs going up every year - except this.
-
when a player start talking about wanting champions league to the press, they mean they want champions league money. Basically the article is a `come get me' big six. Usually what happens is a big side not actually in the CL comes in for them and they sign for them anyway. I'd say it's pretty much over - negotiations wise. He's gone, so long as their is a buyer of course.
-
I have no issue with them expecting the club to be self financing, so long as that also meant are debt didn't start growing (which it has), but it the current climate it would have nice to have seen Gao lend us the £78m rather than us pay 9.14% interest rate.
-
Understood, but equally I should imagine the owner requires that we don't continue to lose tens of millions each year, which willbe hard with revenue down and the need to spend some money on new players in the summer. Youngsters could fill the void. On tonights showing you have ask if they are good enough.
-
as I have mentioned several times matthew, the debt rises to £122m if we don't start paying ti until 2025. So I have little doubt the club WILL be making a debt repayment before then. The sooner we pay it down, the less we `waste' in interest payments, which eat into our annual budget.

did he touch the ball in anger? Not sure the left side was used in the second half, at all. Vokins and Chauke simply didn't figure.
-
complain no, critique, yes.
-
no argument.
-
I've moaned a lot. Job was done, but the youth didn't impress much, especially at fullback, which is worrying as they are our first team cover. I think we need to seriously consider signings there this summer.
-
yep, me too. He will chase and press hard, turn shit long balls into good ones due to his pace, but that is pretty much it. Valery again. Shite.
-
Caught the ey with the socks around the ankles. A nice Cryuff turn, but to be honest not much else. Not sure physically he is quite there. Lacks a yard of pace. Nice goal JWP.
-
perfect word. Glides like Zidane, but without the talent.
-
Watts looked interesting, a few nice touches but not ready for Prem yet. Decent debut though.
-
Valery defending from that free kick. Absolutely no effort to win the header. Far too casual for me. Lack of desire defensively. The sooner we get Brandon Williams the better. Our cover at both fullback positions is bad.
-
so its a good method? Gives me heart attacks. Pure luck we have not conceded in games from them IMO.
-
Again Valery gets forward into a nice position but no end result. I expect better of him.
-
yes again the high line at freekicks almost leads to a goal, Ralf needs to stop this shit. That is so fucking poor from Long.
-
Vokins has basically stood at left wing the whole game, but involved in absolutely nothing going forward. Formation pointless if you don't actually feed the widemen. Jesus what a chance for them
