We have debts of £116m that need to be paid in next 12 months and a further £95m that does not need to be paid back this year. A further £62m may have to be paid out depending (mostly) on appearances. We have about £14m in the bank and we are owed another £24m. Accounts doesn't include players sales (and expenditure) during the summer. Dragon pumped £85m into the club via a share issue. We paid £18m of interest (on bank loan and transfers). That's £350,000 a week. Wage bill was £106m (plus £15m N.I costs).

we dominated, pushed hard and created lots of chances. I've seen us be fortunate to win games, but this wasn't one of those. We eared it aided by the red card, but still well earned and deserved.

Stephens had a very good game. I cant recall a time he gave the ball away or misplaced a pass. He drove forward quite a few times to make the extra man in midfield. Not sure he has unsettled us. The first goal had nothing to do with him. It was just a mistake by Bednarek.

What a great game. We created a lot of chances, both against 11 and then 10.
-
we almost never score two goals in quick succession. Fucking love it. What a game this is.
-
Brooks. Even better than some of us were saying before.
-
I'm not a big fan, but this kind of criticism is over the top. He saw Stephens going beyond him and he had his back to goal, so it wasnt the worst idea.
-
Smallbone's second chance is one he should be scoring.
-
what a passing move. From our own six yard box all the way through to a great chance for smallbone. Doubt anyone is complaining about our overpassing at that moment.
-
Great cross from Stu, but Adams doesn't bust a gut to get in the danger area. lovely cross from Brooks, how did we not score?
-
and contributed to our own goal too though.
-
Lovely weight of pass for the goal.

you are underestimating the opponent a little I feel. The City season has been up and down for sure. They were going really well when they stupidly sacked the manager and brought in Rooney. They smashed WBA having been behind. A terrible decision by the owners. Since Rooney was sacked, and Mowbrey came in, they have been much better, especially at home. In the last three home games they have beaten Sunderland, Blackburn and Hull. Before that, two draws against Bristol City and Swansea.

good news, but that won't solve all our ills, we need to get our flow back too. This wont be straight forward. I've watched them a fair bit and I've been to a few Brum games and they have got their act together, especially at home. They are not a long ball act now either. Seung-Ho and Andre Dozzell can both play a bit. That might suit us actually, but unless we get hold of that midfield area, then those two might win the game for them. Hopeful, but not totally confident.

Gone where? To a Prem side?
-
Agreed and then create a much better display of the fa cup and said medal(s) than they have at present.
-
This is how I feel. I keep hearing "no end product" but beating his man and getting a cross in, is end product. If the cross is cut out or the striker doesn't take the chance that's not always on him. Don't get me wrong, he's been crap in quite a few games, but not all. If he is happy here, and that is not certain, we should stick with him.
-
I don't think Edozie has improved much or his game has developed a great deal since last season. Opposition has just got worse.
-
Yep. We've beaten worse teams.
-
Was the game shown live? I can't remember it all.
-
89 was the brilliant. I probably bought a copy, but I can't remember the chris nicholl cover. Remind us.
-
Likewise. Loved watching that side with letiss and Rodney on the wing. Not sure how it all went wrong but treasured the good times. Met Chris many times when I was a nipper and he seemed like a really nice bloke.

I can see me Dad in the family centre in that video. Love it. One of the best Saints games ever. We were fucking magic that day.
-
I always think that teams from the lower divisions with a contrasting style have the most chance of winning these kind of ties. At the very least you have the be solid defensively and offer a real threat on the break and from set pieces. Is that us? Realistically, you're not going to beat them at their own game. Are we able to play our normal game and cope with their press? What a tough challenge. Hope we play well and create a few chances.

Got to say that the Saudis buying ageing stars at over inflated prices was not the first thing on my mind after losing a third game on four in the championship.
