Fulham are a solid Prem outfit, so maybe I am being greedy here, but have to say, that was absolutely rubbish. We did nothing the entire game attacking wise. We struggled to string three passes together. If you are going to sit back and defend, there has to be some sort of threat on the break.We offered none.

...and then five minutes later KWP is obviously pulled back and the ref ignores it. That said, hardy the ref's fault we have done absolutely fuck all. This five at the back formation does nothing for us going forward. I hate it. I guess we haven't conceded...

While at Torino he signed midfielder Ivan Ilić from Hellas Verona. He didn't follow him to Roma though.

the 3 at the back thing bugs me too, but wasn't Slot a `3 at the back man' and Liverpool haven't played it once since he came. If he watches the first half of this weeks game against Liverpool he won't impose it on us.

there were signs of life in the second half against Brighton. That seems an eternity ago though. Putting two halves together would be good. Looking very solid and limiting opponents to a few tough chances would be nice. It was a weak Liverpool side. Not sure I will take a huge amount of positives from the game to be honest.

Not sure he was asked to play in a more structured way. He just didn't play well. Criticism of a top player is permitted.

whenever we are shit, the `players are unfit' reasoning comes out. We might be, but I don't recall anyone mentioning it last season when we were winning. I would say that we tend to look tired late on because players have worked extra hard to make up for their shit touches, poor positioning, losing the ball etc..

he was pretty poor tonight. Looked a bit sluggish. I general though he has to start. He's quality, but if he plays we do need others that are happy to do the dirty work.

I guess if his powerful header had gone in - it was a good save by Kehler - then that would have been justification.

Not sure I agree. I saw a fair few mis controls and when the space was tight he lost it every time. His finishing was woeful. Can't fault his effort and desire though...and we need some of that up front
