  1. Yep. I was there. Great pitch invasion afterwards 🙂
  2. 4-1 win for Coventry. Simple.
  3. I normally agree with most of what you say, but we really did not look good first half. And it just got worse. I've come to realise that we're just shit most of the time, and pretty decent some of the time. Which is not enough for anything better than mid-table. Which is fine. We just need to not be so arrogant as fans to think we are going to smash everyone or be anywhere near promotion this season like a lot on here still seem to think. As we are clearly not. We should be due to budget/player value etc, but when it's drilled into them to play it around our own 18 yard box at all expenses then we deserve nothing.
  4. Can't be. We've been terrible. If this second half is like our usual, we're fucked.
  5. "Yeah lets play flat out for 95 mins" - Yes, absolutely! "who cares about playing 3 games in a week" - they're highly paid professional athletes who should be able to do this with a little bit of squad rotation where needed. I get legs will tire towards the very end of games but let's not use this as an excuse to stop playing immediately after half time. "That Fellows guy - what a lazy c***...." - No idea what you're on about here. I never mentioned Fellows or that he was lazy. He came off injured.....
  6. If we keep playing for only 45 mins we are going to come unstuck soon. The second half cuntishness just baffles me! Is it an intentional strategy? The fact it's happened in all of Tonda's games in charge suggests it is, which to me is not only bizarre but arrogance. It will catch us out.....we only hung on against WBA as they were shite in front of goal (Baz also made a couple of good saves). If we can play as well as we do in the first half, we can and should be doing it for the whole 97+ minutes! Cut out playing like absolute cockwombles for the second half please!!
  7. I'm sure it's already been said many times, but 3 goals from 3 shots outside the box! Who knew?? Been such a long time!
  8. So a terrible football player and shit driver as well as being dishonest and trying to drive away from a crash. Yet still earning a disgusting amount of money literally stealing a living. Awesome.
  9. First half was a great watch, so strange seeing us being clinical in front of goal, but so good to get that feeling back! Second half was a tough watch and a bit frustrating as there were so many times where we could have turned the screw and had more chances on goal to try and boost our goal difference. Kind of Tonda to even things up a bit on 80mins by bringing Downs on. His 2 game involvements; falling over a blade of grass and heading the ball to a Leicester player (and subsequently injuring himself by landing awkwardly by the looks of it). Also how did the Sky camera person, and both commentators mistake McCarthy for Scienza??
  10. Having watched the highlights, it seems Armstrong was key to this performance/result. Dropping deep, receiving it and putting the ball through for the other forwards to run onto. Was quite sublime to watch, must've been awesome live. Like a knife through butter. Makes you wonder why the actual fuck we haven't been doing it the rest of the season! It's not like Charlton are total shite either, but we made them look like cunts. Makes a change from us looking like that I guess.
  11. I was very busy with work and only saw the score earlier this afternoon. Thought there was a glitch in the internet when I saw that we'd scored 5. I was pleasantly baffled by it. Is anyone able to summarise briefly how we managed this to save me reading through....many thanks!

    Oriol Romeu

Anyone know what car OR drives? Pretty sure I just saw him in a dark Porsche Cayenne in the Winsor area....... 👀
  13. Brings back some great memories! Used to watch it on repeat, can't remember if it was on VHS or if DVDs were out by then..... As you say we are very lucky to have been able to watch a player like him at our club! I'll definitely be giving that another watch
  14. Couple of stumbling blocks in that sentence Regards, The plum
  15. Sorry to break it to you but our hopes of promotion went out the window a couple of months ago.
