  1. I am bloody brilliant in the kitchen, and never had a problem with yorkshires, but can never get the hang of gelatine. I always end up with bits in my cheesecake! I have used the dissolvable sheets and still have the same problem.
  2. Love Turkey, but been there 5 times now, so time to go somewhere else me thinks. Never been let down in Turkey!
  3. Dr Who?

    Festivals

None of them stand out for me, except a few below. Download - Metallica (black album) with support from the Biff. Reading - all the headliners - The Cure, Kasabian, and the Foos. The rest of the line up does not justify a weekend ticket. Think I will just catch a few smaller gigs!
  4. I bet neither sign him. If he is any good Liverpool will snap him up.
  5. Great experience for him, in a team playing with confidence. Is a ****e hole though compared to Oxford!
  6. I think we will win, Reading will draw and West Ham will lose. Not a bad turn out today, if I got to the football I need to take my 10 year old or 3 year old, and that folks is the reason I am not going! I am sure that there are many in the same boat.
  7. The will pack out their end just as well as we did for their crappy gaff. The bubble puts a lot off, but I really do think they will be looking to cause havoc in the ground.
  8. Taller people at the back and some pace..... Simple as that, really? Tactical genius!
  9. 3-2 to Chester!
  10. I was just thinking the same. There must be a second part somewhere. I am going for 2-2
  11. He is slightly mad!
  12. Millwall - A - 19th 1-2 Hull - A - 6th 2-1 Doncaster - H - 22nd 3-0 Blackpool - A - 9th 1-1 Pompey - H - 24th 4-0 Palace - A - 12th 1-3 Reading - H - 2nd 1-1 Peterborough - A - 18th 0-2 Boro - A - 4th 2-1 Coventry - H - 23rd 3-0 21 points.... Watch this all go wrong by Saturday 5pm
  13. Paine, le Tiss and david Speedie should have one.
  14. Wear it underneath, but it maybe a bit warm!
  15. I do think there are pubs where you can go for a quiet drink, but maybe not in City's anymore, but these pubs are still around in towns and villages and they are still used in the same way. They are a vital hub in the community, and Royston, meldreth, Ashwell, barkway, barley and melbourn all in my area have them. Only Shepreth are the village that are fighting to get their community pub back, as it was changed into a pizza restaurant which then went out of business. I think they are very important in these villages, but not the City's anymore.

  17. The Target butts road/burseldon road also closed down and has now been knocked down and houses built. Was knocked down in 2005.
  18. The Elephant and Castle did not close down in the early 90's, it did not close down in the 90's at all. I used to live just off the burseldon road in Sholing and went there with my family including my daughter who was born in 2001. I think it was 2002/03 we went there.
  19. Is this why he does not appear on Soccer Saturday so much?
  20. That is his voice co-commentator on the Arsenal game on Sky?
  21. The time of my life by Green Day.
  22. Say what you like, but of course it will not matter if we go up!
  23. Is that even possible?
  24. If not Barnsley, or even better both!
  25. This is just a little fun, and I am not saying that we are 100% going to go up. But which game if you were to guess do you think will see us get mathematically promoted! I am going to go with Posh away.
