I am the only one who is not happy with this button as it is blue and white? .

I think it is about time two promoted teams play each other on the opening day. Also that the second team are at home so... Southampton v Reading/West Ham/Blackpool. Now you now this is going to happen so put your money on it! Result 2-2
-
Of course we were! I see you are preparing yourself for the worse again? I was settling for mid table last season and we went up. I am going for 13th as it stands.

SMS is perfect to develope, the area could become a huge leisure and resturant area, where the family could make a whole day out. Incorporating the football, bars, restaurants, cinema, ice rink all on the water front. People using the club shop. The scope is never ending, and it seems that football chairman are missing huge potential all over the country. Why not have another pitch and have the ladies game at lunchtime, and the enterence fee is part of your ticket. They would get bigger crowds and it would rise the profile of the ladies game. Just need to buy some of the land and get the planning to develope the waterfront area. Ok this is the hard part, but it could be a awesome development.

Back to where we belong!

This has all the making of a classic thread.

Great player for Saints, was gutted when he left!
-
Well they need to get the first goal on Monday, but cannot see it. West Ham for Wembley heartbreak?
-
Cardiff look terrible!
-
If they have been watching him all season, they would have seen that he is a very good championship player, but a lot to prove for Premier League standard. I hope he does make the cut, but with us!

Really happy that we are up, and I can enjoy the summer. Holiday x 2 trips with the kids Watch the Euros. I am in no hurry for it to come back, but by August I am sure I will be biting at the bit. I am really looking forward to a stress free summer with the family, and not have to worry about results, tables and fixtures!!!

South-coast pendulum swings Southampton's way
Dr Who? replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
I do not see this, I can see 2 kids in the Southampton pic and 1 in the skates one! But we are a family club, and the club with a bright future! -
Home game first, and would like it to be home to someone like, Sunderland, Vila, Everton, Fulham, as far as I am concerned the games we need to be winning at home. Reading would be a good one, so we can beat them, now we have got rid of our home first game jinks! Would like to finish the season at home, just in case we need a win..... it would make it much easier, and again to a mid table side with nothing to play for. I would alos like a hat-trick of 2nd place finishes please Saints!

Just want to add, I love the play offs and cannot stand West Ham.

Think it is time for Cardiff.

Full time whistle on Saturday, it has been so tense and emotional!
-
We have a truely great manager, and club!
-
I think one tread with who we would like to see. But a new one with players we are linked with in the press, or they get lost in one big thread, and some of us do not have all day to go through indivdual threads!
-
This is a bit of what it is about, but over the last few years, it has been more about following Saints and getting them back to where they are. As many have said I pay to watch Saints not the oppo, but yes it is extra sweet when we beat one of the 'big boys'.
-
Oh dear, I got this one completely wrong but that is football very hard to predict. Still cannot believe some of things I siad..... never been so happy to be so so so wrong!!
-
I thought after reading the thread title was going to say.... Is a knob. End of story.
-
Not worried about these 2 next season. ;-)
-
He needs to leave the club, he was given a 2nd chance and did not take it.

Please don't embarrass us with any more clown costumes
Dr Who? replied to dune's topic in The Saints
So who are you talking to? Did someone on here wear one? People forget that this site is about 2% of our fan base. Wish more would use it! -
I think I have confused things, but think the op has got this all wrong Jos the Hoover is a lovely bloke who loves the fans, and is a top quality premier league player... Well he will prove to be. I am getting my Jos and Jose mixed up, but only on a typo!
