The badge is great, I really like it, and if it changed I would not feel such a connection to it. I am proud to be a Saints fan and I am proud of our badge! It also first appeared the year I was born..... lovely!! Was it a winner of a compitition or did the club design it?

Yes you are correct, and in the modern game, to match Liverpool's record is a fantastic run of home wins. Stop and think about it 21 straight home wins!!! Amazing!
-
I think we will smash them 0-4!!
-
Do you really believe we will be promoted this season,Yes or No ?
Dr Who? replied to bjk's topic in The Saints
I still think we will go up, there are many teams that win a few, then lose a few. All it would take is a winning run of 4/5 games, and someone could run away at the top. I think we are having our sticky patch and we are still picking up points and still top. I think we will go up yes! -
So cool and calm is Mr. Adkins.
-
Ooooo I like that!!

Do this next week and I will have my betting slips. I have one for the odds on, and one for long shots, but I always look to win over a grand! So 12 teams at least on the odds on and 8 for the long shots that I think will pull it off. Then I have a goals, goals, goals... both teams the score. When i go to games I do not bet, but free now until March time!!

Saints V Blackpool Match Thread and Reaction
Dr Who? replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Agree we did keep running until the end, and we always do, but I am talking mentally tired. I just feel they need to relax and clear their minds, as this stops mistakes coming into the game, and improves shapness all round, and in front of goal. They deserve some time away, for the fantastic year we have ALL had. -

I think the team should go away for a few days..... they look like they need a break and we are not playing until Sunday, and then it is game after game thick and fast.... they need a break!!!!!!! -
Saints V Blackpool Match Thread and Reaction

Agree that Blackpool kept the ball well, but did not create much. At the back they were just as dodgy as us. We had more of the ball, the better chances and looked more of a threat in the last 3rd. Should have won, and the mistake by Bart was the difference between a late leveller, and only getting a draw. Was a very strange game, and we still nearly won it. Guly was man of match by far, and I thought lallana was good in the first half but drifted in the second. Was a fantastic game! -
But nicer place to go for a day, or even a weekend of it. As well as not feeling on edge all the time. Saying the above I cannot wait until the next time I can go to Fratton to watch Saints..... it is so exciting and the rush of just being there is sooo good. I have only experienced it in a friendly, but was still intence! It has been ruined with the travel arrangements and missing the train journey and the walk to the ground is part of the derby day I love....

At the moment, I am just gaging interest. I have 4 interested teams, but we need at least 6 to get the league off the ground. Once we know numbers, we will source the best venue for the teams and the games will be on a rota every week on the same chosen day, between the hours of 7 and 10pm. I will then ask the remaining teams that are still interested for contact details, and then you will be contacted by my manager Tom. He will do all the team registation, and register your team with the FA and sign you up to the league. Then you will have a website space set up, and you will be able to see your fixtures, results and league tables. All you need to do is turn up for your game, with at least 6 players and max 9, and pay your £25-£28 per team depending on number of teams and play your game.... all year round if you choose. Please contact if you are still interested, like I say we have 4 teams, but need at least 6..... you all get free kits if you are part of the original league on the first fixture night. PM me or just reply to this.

No reason not to wear your shirt. I would always wear my shirt to this game!

Not many teams have a like for like replacement outside the top 4/5 that people talk of!

Beat me to it ha ha!

Were awful live, and even though Ian Brown has never been able to sing, he has made a great career out of his solo stuff. All apart from Reni have had a few years on the live circuit. I think there will be a huge improvment in the band. Bring on Heaton Park!!! Madness are a fantastic festival band!!

Lost a bet about 15 years ago and had a 'walk' around Fratton Park in a full Saints kit. I got noticed doing this, but not beaten up.....it was during the day, I think a worse bet I would have had to do it on matchday!!

Now lets take a look at the home form. Saints 30 points West Ham 17 points Boro 15 points Cardiff 23 points Leeds 17 points IMO We will start to drop points at home, but also improve are away form, of course we would find the right aproach play for home and away games, as at the moment it is ust not working away from home. It is lucky that Cardiff are also rubbish away from home!! just shows how inconsistent everyone is, and we are very lucky to have excellent home form... long may it continue.

Let's pretend we just extended our lead on 3rd to 7 points
Dr Who? replied to saintmatt's topic in The Saints
We seem to have run out of stream. We have not been playing well for weeks, and our last really good game was at home to Boro. We have managed to win the 2 home games some how, but we have not look good at all. Surely we cannot be out of stream already? When we drop points at home, I hope this does not deflate the team so that we lose a few games. Momentum is everything! -
Will be in Southampton. the length is the width of a football pitch One day in the week

Hi all, Just something I though some on here might be interested in? I am looking for teams to join the Football sixes league in Southampton on all weather pitches. All free entry, no deposit, all teams and the league registered, qualified referee every week, bibs and balls supplied. The teams will just need to turn up min of (6 players max of 9 per squad) and play once a week. A minimum of 6 teams are required for the league to go ahead. The season will have a certain amount of weeks depending on the number of teams and then, everything will start all over again... yes football all year round. Again depending on the number of teams will pay for there match anywhere between £25 & £30. Full league tables and top goalscorers, and fixture on own website for the league. If you have a team that are interested in joining this sort of league, then please contact me as soon as possible. Free kit for the first 6 teams to show interest. Kind Regards Kevin Sim kevinsim@hotmail.co.uk

I am one of the most positive of supports and we havbe had all the reason to be. The last few weeks we have not played well but still managed to win 2 of the 4 games. We 'seem' to be running out of steam and it is not even Christmas. Saying this many of the teams have had a wobble and then got things back together again, so heres hoping! It is a tough time of year with games coming thick and fast, and I fear that when we lose our home record it could have a huge impact on the side. The last time we lost at home was 11th December, my birthday, and I have a feeling we may fall a day short of making it one year unbeaten at home. Please please please let me be wrong, but we are not playing like a team top of the table....but nor are West Ham playing like a team that are second!

Still top but not played well for a few games now and still manging to win at home. Losing to 2 teams in the bottom 3 in a week, without scoring is not right for the TOP team!! On to Blackpool!!
