One of my best mates, who reads this board, but does not post has had a baby boy today. Another baby Saint has entered the world. Born at 15.17 today! I am so happy for him, and he will make a fantastic dad. I know how he will be feeling right now as my son was born on the 3rd January, and he will be floating and such a proud dad! Congrats to him and his wonderful wife, for doing the hard part.

Not proved himself yet, and a bad touch against Blackpool stopped us having a fantastic chance of keeping our home run going, and since we have lost 2 on the spin. I am not blaming him 100% for our down turn, but it was a factor. I think he has shown good signs, but he is not the finished article and may never ever get there.

Barnard - never fully fit DC - never stays fit for long enough Guly - not that great away, and can only seem to play with Lambert Lee - no idea how good he is. This leaves only Lambert who we can 100% rely on. If he gets injured then we are still light. DC and Barnard IMO will not be with us next season. With the wide players only Lallana has proven that he can do it at this level. Loan player looked lost the other night, and Steve is not looking that great. I still think we need a striker and a centre back. I do think puncheon has something to prove and could do a good job for us, but only Time will tell.

I agree with this. We cannot get any of our targets, so let's get him back in the first team! I do not think we will make any new signings now!

Now I seem to remember some older 'saints fans' telling me a story, and being very proud of it, about Neil McNab just after his dad died. He went to take a throw in and under east stand sang 'Neil McNab, got no dad, Neil McNab got no dad'. So I would say idiots are among all fans old and young.

If Maynard knocks in a few goals, puts himself about a bit, and Wigan do go down, what's to say another premier league club will not come in for him? Also 3 months in the premier league is fantastic experience for him. We can buy him in the summer when we go the other way :-)

Leeds have lots of pace and we took them apart. We are 2nd in the league, so have been doing something right, but cannot seem to get that swagger back at the moment. Confidence is an amazing thing!

Football is fun, because it has it's ups and downs. It is a roller coaster, and this is the reason I love it! You cannot win all the time.
