He was, by Pardew. That's why he is still at Saints.
-
Until he moved to Arsenal. I bet someone of the attitude of Arsene Wenger wouldn't have let Stevie slide. Theo will be all right. Wayne Bridge has always slightly missed his partner CMFG. Theo will be fine now, after a very slow start at Arsenal, but don't forget Gareth Bale, who most definitely left Saints too soon, IMO.

Just heard AP's comments on Radio Solent, and he touched on Papa getting a back injury during the Wycombe game, which put him out of the line-up today. Reckons he'll be back for the next match. Must be so, so nice for AP to allow his players to rest, after getting an injury, knowing the players coming in will serve the team well.

Absolutely. If [and yes it is a BIG IF] Pardew had been able to come in and get his team sorted earlier, Saints would almost certainly be in the play-off places now. Remember how we struggled to reel off the -10 points..? That was down to the new regime having to get its feet under the table. Remove that 10 point penalty, and have this form from the start, and we'd be around the top of the table.

Chris Temple on Radio Solent says Saints are in 14th place. What does he know that I don't..?
-
Confirmed 15th now. Only Yeovil stopped us from being 14th. Really gutted.
-
SKY Sports LIVE table appears to be dead then.
-
Brighton have done us a nice favour too. We appear to have climbed all the way upto 15th. Just love that. Hope the other games keep us that way.
-
OK, I have to check my pasta sauce anyway.
-
Unnecessarily pessimistic, don't you think..? Or are you just covering all the exits..?
-
Because Walsall have found a way through the defence at last.
-
Bloody hell 3-1. Not again.
-
15th place beckons Yahoo.. 3-0 Saints..!
-
Come on Brighton..!
-
Now 16th.
-
Just watched Saints go up to 17th when Swindon scored. On the Beeb Football website, that is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/default.stm

Did I hear correctly..? Around 5000 at The Bescot and 1800 of them are Saints fans..! Fantastic support.

Don't worry. I'm already thinking that this might be one of those days when I should keep away from the radio. And as to Saints wrapping a game up in the first half; sadly, I'm blessed with a decent memory of Saints bad second 45 minutes. It's a lifetime legacy bequeathed to me by SFC. It's never over until the ref blows the last whistle.

Been away making a meal for later. Wonderful. I hoped Saints might score while I was away. Nice to hear it's 2 goals.
-
Just heard the reason why Lambert appears slightly slower of late. He's become an old man, sporting a beard.
-
Yeah, we're doing reasonably well. Don't want to put a curse on Saints by writing something more positive.
-
Schneiderlin's shot goes just wide. It always makes me wonder why a player with a great reputation for precision passing often can't hit a barn door with a banjo when it comes to shooting at goal.
-
Connolly gets a shot in. Game seems to be quite open.
-
Perry mistake, Walsall sidenetting. Corner.
-
Getting a reasonable bit of possession. Lambert curling shot, over the bar.
