Bit late with the answer, but Yes.

Except that we beat Wolves at Molineux 6-0 only a few seasons back. However, that was largely a case of a 50-50 game going brilliantly for Saints every time they had an attack. By all accounts, this game was one-way traffic. A demolition, or as commentator Kris Temple said, Huddersfield were chewed up and spat out..!

You know what..? When I watched Rickie Lambert's performance against Pompey, I thought he was actually England material. He had such a fantastic game that he had the Pompey defence in all sorts of trouble. Yes, he would be good enough for the Egypt friendly. But to what end..? Let's be greedy and keep Rickie to ourselves.

Well I did the Predictor back in late October, during our run of 3-1 wins, and Saints didn't hit the top 6 until the end of March, according to the results I was getting. I had us winning at home, sometimes drawing away, but occasionally winning too. I even threw in the odd loss. We ended up with 82 points and 4th spot. So, from way back then I thought we might just make the playoffs, but in the last 6 weeks I've changed my mind from being optimistic about the playoffs to being realistic and that we'll probably miss them. But you know what..? I think we may be able to do it after all. It's a hell of a long shot, but it just might happen. 14 points behind, with a game in hand, and between now and the end of the season, we are to play the other 5 of the current top 6. 3 at home: Leeds, Swindon, Charlton, and 2 away: MK Dons and Bristol Rovers. It's do-able.

Good interview with AP. Once again, AP sees the same game, and is even honest enought to admit that the side can be a tad guilty of being bogged down on muddy pitches.

They did read out Alpine's own text though.

Just read out on Solent: I want Alan Pardew's babies, from Mike Hunt. Oh dear..!

Off to post match, peeps
-
Well that was bloody brilliant.
-
Presumably you'd want 7 as soon as they get 6..? 1 minute on E.T.
-
6-0 nearly by Chamberlain.
-
Bring on Oxlade-Chamberlain. What a brlliant night for the lad.

Waigo..!
-
5-0
-
Bollix..! Dave has at last said that Saints must keep a clean sheet..!
-
Corner Saints. Puncheon has caught Dave's eye. That must have hurt. 4-0
-
That was popular.
-
Fonte, over the bar.
-
Oh no, Dave is whispering again. Next he'll mention a CLEAN F*****G SHEET. Saints 10th corner.
-
That's it. Dave has said KD hasn't even been tested in 70 minutes. Cue a quick few goals.
-
I wouldn't mind, but I'd obviously rather have some more Saints goals, as I missed nearly the whole of the 1st half.

Wonder how Neal Trotman feels about having had 3 got past him via his old teammates..?
-
4-0. Yeaaaaaaah..! No.... saved.
-
He's out for the season. Really pleased with his teammates. Really p!ssed off he can't play. Thinks his wife is wonderful for putting up with him. Has only just started walking again after 2 weeks of sitting on his arse.
