Yet he can hit a post twice, from two different angles, within 10 minutes of the same game. That takes skill.

Dave and Co on Solent have decided they want 6 goals from Saints. Got to admire their confidence and expectation. Corner Walsall.
-
Wayne Thomas coming on for Jaidi.
-
You mean the traditional version, yes..? I think there's room for all versions. Dave talking about Saints demolishing, even destroying Walsall today. And he wasn't even whispering. Cue for Walsall to shoot, with KD saving well. Lallana misses when he should have scored.

Stockport 4-0 Wycombe..!

4-1 really.
-
4-1 nearly..!

I think it's tosh, but it's possibly the sort of player Saints would be looking at to replace Lallana, if promotion wasn't forth coming this season. Players like Lallana, Lambert, etc.. wouldn't be absolutely 100% certain to stick with the club if we failed to be promoted. Lambert, for example, is currently at the height of his powers, mainly due to being fitter than he's ever been, and playing better than he ever has. He now must be curious to see whether he is good enough to cut it in the Premiership, for one or two seasons.

That's a typical Saints supporter's life. I suspect they'll be more swearing and smiling to be done in the 2nd half.

winter olympics better than Summer olympics
St Landrew replied to mightysaints's topic in General Sports
The Summer Olympics have its own moments. Usain Bolt, amongst others..? The Winter Olympics is great viewing though, because the sports are indeed edgy and risky, and we don't get to see them them that often. Here's the GB 4-man Bob turning over on that fast track. They were really flying at the time. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic_games/vancouver_2010/bobsleigh/8540246.stm -

Not a problem, Eric. I've finished my work for the day, and so unless I'm getting a coffee, I'll punch up the score ASAP. -

Tbh, if anyone is living locally, and using the Saintsplayer, you'd be better off tuning into FM 96.1 Radio Solent. Corner Walsall. -

Noticed since we've equalised the tempo of the game has gone down. Why are we not keeping the tempo up, like we know we should..? I know it's almost one-way traffic, but a reasonable opposition side will soak up pressure if given the time to re-group. OK 2-1. Bollix, Barnard offside. -

For those who don't mind being a few minutes out of date, this is always interesting to follow, along with some radio commentary: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8499097.stm -

People may know that normally I couldn't give the smallest toss about teams, other than Saints. But this match piqued my interest ever-so-slightly. Initially, it's understood Wayne Bridge didn't shake John Terry's hand, and fair play to that, if he feels he has been very much let down by a [former] friend. The match is now into the closing stages [something like 88th minute], with Man City in the lead on 3-1, and TWO Chelsea players sent off. I think I sniff a win. Plus, I imagine Bridgey is getting every crumb of comfort he can, from it.
