Pep Biel (Spanish) from Selles' old club, Copenhagen? https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pep-biel/profil/spieler/263804
-
More encouraging noises from the club: A trio of Spanish clubs have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Chris Richards, but it is Southampton & Crystal Palace who lead the way - Bayern are discussing whether to include a buyback clause if they do agree to sell #saintsfc @jamesbenge

Can't possibly be Bale. Can it?
-
I thought that before I re-read it as 'transfer talks' which suggests player
-
Spain - any idea who?
-
I thought he was hugely overrated when he was picked ahead of JWP but thought he had an excellent Euro 2020. Can see why they're interested.

Personally think we need an old (as in experienced) head at CB. The rest can run around...
-
Pompey need a keeper... #specialagentalex

Bournemouth

What? Another keeper move? Beach to Chelsea? what is this, the equivalent of legs day at the gym?
-
I mean, it’s possible we broke him for good. Or that we shattered his confidence. Fraser Forster lost it for ages too. The got it back. It happens. So not quite the zinger.

willy signs one year extension (tee hee). Good. Does this push Alex to our number three?

PSG=Portsmouth Sports Ground

I suspect Gunn was a great prospect not helped by our old goalkeeping coaches
-
His positioning looked excellent to me, meaning he was in precisely the right spot to make saves look easy. So many keepers fail at this and have to do 'television' saves to get them out of trouble. It's a small set, sure, but on first looks he seems good to me. Does the basics, and looks an athlete with good 'fast twitch'. For me it's llke wicket keepers. You shouldn't notice them
-
The comments on one of the Youtube video interviews he did all raved about him as the best they had had since David James, and that he will play Champions League
-
Newcastle were interested, but he came because of our history with young players and being promised he was number one... Good!
-
My feeling is very unscientific, just based on seeing a few videos and his clear talent/athleticism, plus the fact that Man City clearly rate him, as does his national team. Maybe re the Henderson thing that would have been too obviously a number one, whereas this looks like he will be 'in contention' with the useless one (despite being possibly better already). Just a thought. Guess he might not to have too much upheaval either if he'd been at Pompey (not that that is too big a deal these days)

At least we haven't got goalkeeper coaches that appear to make keepers worse (any more). I have a good feeling about Bazunu. Probably already our number one.
-
Bazanu is 16m apparently, and undergoing medical

Bazanu has agreed a fee and the 20 year old will now have a medical. This is excellent news.
-
You need to get used to CB Fry. Offers nothing.
-
He will have good links with Man City, especially the youngsters. We have been keeping tabs on players like Delap for ages. And Banzanu. So perhaps they may now be blooded at Burnley... According to a report by Dan Sheldon of the Athletic, Southampton are eyeing moves for the likes of Liam Delap, Gavin Bazunu, Cole Palmer and James McAtee in the summer.
