  1. They're committed to using VAR, and Championship grounds don't all have it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  2. Exactly how will the restart of football put money directly in the NHS coffers? Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  3. This sums it up nicely. If it weren't for the money, no-one would even be thinking of getting the season finished. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  4. And the answer is no. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  5. Sorry, but I find this ridiculous. Anyone who thinks football is so important it justifies special treatment and risk-taking simply has lost all sense of proportion. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  6. Absolutely. It's not about football or fans. It's just money. But it's not going to happen. It's taking a while to sink in but the end result is inevitable: any artificial attempt at finishing this season is ludicrous, irresponsible and dangerous. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  7. No surprise that UEFA are looking to take the opportunity to change the qualifying rules so their chosen top teams get in each year. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  8. You could well be right. Trying to limit to TV companies being able to claim back. Force majeur would probably work as an argument if they're stopped by the government, but I wonder if the government's links with Sky prompted their statement yesterday that they want it restarted. 9. Until September, actually. And FIFA medical chief recommends no football at all until September. PL will soon get desperate, but the reality is the prospects of this season being finished are receding fast. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  10. Sums it up Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  11. Except that the weaker teams tend to need their best players on the pitch mist of the time. They haven't got equally good replacements on the bench. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  12. Just seen FIFA are suggesting five subs for the rest of this season to help players cope with the number and frequency of games. Seems to me that's yet another move to benefit the rich teams who have an overload of quality players that they'll now be able to utilise. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  13. Indeed. The Trump camp will go into full attack mode with a completely made-up story. Truth doesnt matter. Give your supporters what they want to hear and they'll believe anything. My guess is blaming the Chinese for Covid which reeked havoc despite the brilliant effort by Trump and because Biden encouraged the Chinese, proving a strong xenophobic line is needed. 14. He's cancelled Coronavirus press conferences now because they ask awkward questions and don't just print what he tells them to. He's been using them as a campaign forum but it's not working. I think there's a strong possibility he'll replace them with Presidential Addresses with no press or questions. He can't cope with any opposition or scrutiny and will do anything to have absolute control. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  15. It's really a terrifying stream of insane nonsense. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  16. This. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  17. Really pathetic that his team took all day to come up with a standard gaslighting response. He didn't really say it at all, and even if he did, it was sarcastically said to journalists who are so bad because they ask nasty questions. Not to the doctor he was looking at and speaking to directly. And he hasn't a clue what sarcasm is. Read the full transcript of his rambling response today. It's utterly bizarre. It's too long to post here, but it's given in full in the Guardian live section. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  18. I'm sorry, but that's very disrespectful to my five-year-old grandson, who would be embarrassed to come up with something so ridiculous. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  19. I thought a poll on the Man U fans forum Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  20. So either the FA or PL will decide which clubs "on sporting merit" should get Euro places. That sounds like a load of fun and lots of money for lawyers. Let's play the "guess which teams deserve a place on sporting merit" game. I'll go first. Man U, Man City unless banned, which I doubt they will be, Liverpool, Chelsea/Arsenal depending on who wins the court case. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  21. If you believe that, you'll believe anything. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  22. Fair enough. I understand. I assume we hope Saints refund to STB and they pass it on. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  23. I've just read a report that Saints are waiting to see how the season will be resolved before a decision on partial season ticket refunds and sales for next season. That's fair enough. But I was perplexed to read that, if you bought your season ticket through finance, ie in installments, you will need to claim back from the finance company rather than Saints. That seems wrong. 24. You actually believe this rubbish??? Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  25. They are very keen to see the remaining games played, however long it takes, and probably behind closed doors. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
