Thinking about the Yin/Yang of posters, and I accept that it might be time playing tricks with my "Miserableoldmind" but 19 Canteen (19 C) was one of the nastiest posters that I have come across on here. Seemed to have no respect for anybody. On the other hand, Bexter von Doodle seemed to be one of the more decent posters.....

Big Ron was a great, great player! With Paine and Sydenham on the wings, you couldn't go wrong! Weirdly Wyn Davies, who was around at the same time, playing for Newcastle, used to get more publicity, but Ron was, IMHO the better player!
