But it is not a few goals. It`s 11. It is more than a few assists. This is the problem. If your are anti-Guly it`s a few. I personally think that eleven is quite a considerable contribution, but hey, that`s me.

O.K. It is quite simple. If a player has a bad game then feel free to say so. There isn`t a player born who doesn`t have bad games. I just think that to just say that a player is completely **** all of the time, when that player has scored 11 goals and been credited with many assists in what is going to be (hopefully) a promotion season says more about the people who critisise than it does about the player concerned. I am not saying that Guly is brilliant, but I think that this continual slagging of a player who quite obviously does have something to offer (NA keeps picking him) is nothing short of pathetic. It is not just about opinions. If I said that MLT was a fat useless git who offered nothing to the team, would that just be accepted as my opinion? Or would I be pilloried as a lunatic? You can`t have it both ways.

I have never said at any point that that Guly is the best thing since sliced bread. I will always say when he has a bad game, just like I would any other player, but equally I will compliment him, the same as I would for any player when he has a good one. What I won`t do is blindly constantly condemn a player as **** when he quite patently isn`t.

Thank you for explaining that to him. It obviously went over his head. But this is what happens when you blindly follow a bandwagon.

Why is it stupid? It`s no more stupid than the blanket condemnation of one of our players who has scored eleven important goals and had numerous assists by short-sighted numpties who have such a bigotted view and will never compliment the bloke whatever he does.

Totally agree with this. Guly has been made a scapegoat from the start. I fully accept that he has bad games like everyone else but the continual slating of someone who has scored 11 goals this season despite "not being good enough for the Championship", plus numerous assists is nothing short of pathetic. As for being lazy - do you actually watch him? The amount of chasing and running that he does makes him far from lazy, but hey, let`s not let facts get in the way of a good stoning , shall we?
