The Dolphin has been a bit up and down as well. Used to like it when the unpredictable Chris Shakespeare and Chrissie were there, but you never know who is running it these days.

I think that it is fair to say that it has changed rather a lot since the 70`s (and I don`t just mean on Saturday!). As I said Martin and Dawn turned it around. It is still a backstreet boozer type pub, but very community minded. http://www.thejunction-inn.co.uk/

Martin and Dawn celebrated 10 years at the pub last month. It is a real pub with a really good, ever changing selection of decent beers and is a real community pub. Great shame.

I`m really surprised that no-one has started a thread on this already. One of Southamptons finest "watering holes" The Junction Inn in St Denys was badly damaged by fire on Saturday evening. Martin and Dawn and the staff were unhurt but damage to the pub is extensive. It`s a great place and I really hope that it rises from the ashes before too long.

Appleton was on Solent this morning sending an appeal to the FL to start using some common-sense and allow them to bring in some more players. I assume that this is the same common-sense that Poopey used when going for their "quality over quantity" policy?

I do apologise. I thought that I was being helpful. I try to keep my multi-disc CD`s as one on itunes. It is much easier.

If you right-click on a track, go to "Get Info" and then "Info" on the box that comes up, you can change the details in there. Its a bit time consuming but it does work. I`ve done it with double albums. Just make sure that the information you input is identical, apaert from the track title, obviously.
