Titanic Sinking 100th Anniversary at SMS

Sorry, at what point has anyone mentioned the club leading the memorial? I think the original question was whether the club will be doing anything to mark the occaission. -

Not grieving. The grieving was done by the 1000 families who were affected 100 years ago. A brief moment of respect and rememberance. That is all. As I said ,I really don`t mind if the club do or don`t but some on here are certainly coming across as quite disrespectful. -

I don`t know anyone who died in the war (any war come to think of it) but that doesn`t stop me paying my respects on a yearly basis to those who did. Nobody is asking you to grieve. Just pay a small respect to those 550 Southampton residents (many of whom may have been Saints fans) who died that night. Alpine was asking if the club was going to do anything to just mark the centenary of the biggest peacetime tragedy to hit the city. I don`t really mind if they do or they don`t, but there does seem to be some strange attitudes coming out on this thread. -

An unbelievably crass statement but somewhat typical of modern morality. I don`t know anyone who died in the War but I wouldn`t disrespect them with remarks like that. -

They were people that lived in the city (or town as it was then) and a lot were born in the city and had children at local schools. -

I believe that around 550 people from Southampton died in the tragedy. 550 in one night. The club wants to be an integral part of the community so I for one do not see any harm if they mark the day in some small way. -

I don't think that Alpine should banned. He not as offensive as some, but I do find his constant negativity incredibly tiresome. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk -

The problem is that a few posters on here (you included) only seem to post negative things even when things are going well. You were convinced that we would lose by 3 clear goals today after we went 1 down. People just get ****ed off with your continual negative take on everything. You must understand that. I guess it`s because WE ARE!! I know that it doesn`t fit the serial moaners on here, but we are having a bad run and are still top. We were always going to have a bad run at some time. -
