    Guly

All this "Guly is ****"" stuff is quite moronic. Is he frustrating? Yes of course he is. Is he inconsistant? Yes of course he is. Is he a good player? A look at the stats make it obvious that he is. I think that if he finished as the leagues top scorer, found a cure for cancer and established world peace, the usual suspects on here would continue to drone on with their senseless drivel.
  3. Really??
  4. Absolutely love Oysterband. Get to see them as often as possible. So many of there song could fit in this thread. One of my favourite lyrics/song is "For a Dancer" by Jackson Browne. Written for a girlfriend who was a ballet dancer who died:- Jackson Browne For A Dancer Lyrics Keep a fire burning in your eye Pay attention to the open sky You never know what will be coming down I don't remember losing track of you You were always dancing in and out of view I must have thought you'd always be around Always keeping things real by playing the clown Now you're nowhere to be found I don't know what happens when people die Can't seem to grasp it as hard as I try It's like a song I can hear playing right in my ear That I can't sing I can't help listening And I can't help feeling stupid standing 'round Crying as they ease you down 'cause I know that you'd rather we were dancing Dancing our sorrow away (right on dancing) No matter what fate chooses to play (there's nothing you can do about it anyway) Just do the steps that you've been shown By everyone you've ever known Until the dance becomes your very own No matter how close to yours Another's steps have grown In the end there is one dance you'll do alone Keep a fire for the human race Let your prayers go drifting into space You never know what will be coming down Perhaps a better world is drawing near And just as easily it could all disappear Along with whatever meaning you might have found Don't let the uncertainty turn you around (the world keeps turning around and around) Go on and make a joyful sound Into a dancer you have grown From a seed somebody else has thrown Go on ahead and throw some seeds of your own And somewhere between the time you arrive And the time you go May lie a reason you were alive But you'll never know
  5. Grew up in the 60`s and wanted to be a Mod. Sadly, couldn`t afford a lot of the clothes. Always wanted a Madras jacket - didn`t get one :-(
  6. I bet they don`t. The press love `Arry. He is good copy.
  7. Everyone is entitled to an opinion......but I agree with you. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
  8. Apparently you can!
  9. Goes on a bit but still quite funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=EVwlMVYqMu4&vq=medium#t=125

  11. I do hope that Dalek posts a video of himself dematerialising or what ever it was he promised to do!!
  12. Midget Porn as well??
  13. PLEASE be true!!
  14. Not quite. I don`t think that you could actually drink coffee in there. They just sold dozens of different type of coffee beans, which they used to roast and grind on the premises. More like an ancestor of Whittards.
  15. My favourites are "Chemin de Terre" and the Olympia Concert, both of which I have recently upgraded to CD. I have the Dublin concert on cassette! He did a session on "The Old Grey Whistle Test" back in the 70`s. I have tried to find it on t`internet but I fear that it may have been wiped.
  16. I am Nicola Cortese!
  17. I have quite a few Alan Stivell albums and I love his version of the song. I have a real soft spot for Breton traditional music. Bombardes, pipes, hurdy-gurdy!
  18. The shop at The Junction was, I think, called "Importers". I seem to remember that was the only word, in quite big letters, on the shop front. The smell was just magic though!!
  19. The thing that I don`t understand with this supposed "Conspiricy Theory" that Saints are just making big bids to appease the fans is that the club does it`s business privately, never confirming or denying anything. Any information seems to come from the "selling" club. Why don`t Saints give out the info if they are trying to appease? Or is this part of the master plan - get the other club to spill the beans?
  20. I am very naive when it comes to business and high finance, so can somebody explain why Appleton said in his post match interviewthat the fact that they have the unpaid tax bill makes the club a more attractive proposition for a new buyer?
  21. What we mustn`t do now is let Millwall score.
  22. We really need to sign someone called Danny Lee!
  23. I think that you`ll find it`s "massacred".
  24. .....and named it after a film title??
