Stewart is partly down to us dicking about I thought - now he is open to a last hoorah pay day with a no strings signing on fee elsewhere - unless we are still talking in the background. Still if he gets wiped out in the next couple of weeks at the WC - we won't be needing to pick up the pieces.

Think that was a more personal treat to be in the Azteca than the actual game
-
Thought the Mexican national anthem was pretty stirring stuff, with the mascots going full tilt at it too

I’m amazed the sarcastic whatsit who sorts our Golf weekends hasn’t sounded out a trip here to wind me up.

2 out of 2 - Well done Palace - just Arsenal to make it a full set.
-
Off to the Taxpayer Dildo Dome Àrena (League one Glen for that) next season.
-
Would that count as being relegated with 2 clubs in the same season?
-
Everton are being generous - probably Moyes going stick that in your pipe Hammers
-
Probably features as Hamburgs worse player of the season too - my German mate said he stank the place out 🤣who knows, we might be investigated for rooking Hamburg into taking him on loan 😂

Hope spying wasn't the next wheeze after having him go down to the stores for a Glass Hammer, Left Handed Screwdriver, and of course - A Long Weight. Ah the good old days

I’ll help you out Stu 2:30 = too-th-urty 😁 it’s a good old Dad joke

Have you not wondered why a team like Sheffield Wednesday kept getting kicked with points deductions whilst they were already writhing on the ground after the last points deduction kicking for the same or similar offence - and thought what’s the point of another punishment as surely it’s making them getting out of the shite even harder? I was on a walking Safari in Africa once our guides changed our route because they could hear Lions were ahead somewhere - the EFL are like a Lion, stay away and play within their rules you’ll be fine, goad them - expect to get mauled.
-
When will folk realise we can't be compared to when Leeds did it - when Leeds did it they were being unsportsman like for which there was an established rule in place, there was no specific rule in place to say "thou shalt not covet thy oppositions positioning when defending corners within 72 hours of a match". But because Leeds were ferreting about in the bushes peeping on other teams, the EFL saw this as a loophole to close in the unsportsman like behaviour chapter of the rule book ..........................just like another loophole they closed , with rules, and we tried to slither around back in 2009 and they threw a different sized book at us, to make an example of us: one that could have pushed us into the abyss of non-existence.
-
All the more reason to factor him into the plan to go spying on them, if we knew we were playing with fire, be aware of people who have joined us from them and then left after short time. You can guess someone assumed a £2m fine would be acceptable against the possible much large gain - fotgetting who they were playing with in the EFL.

Didn’t he have a range of cooking sauces including Carbonara? apologies @Midfield_General you posted as I was typing 🙄

Hey the longer it goes on with Carbonara-gate brewing, or should I say simmering, hopefully by the time the announcements made, this bank holiday weekends meal menu in the JBS household will have been sorted. 😁

You’ve forgotten that we have form with the EFL - roll the clock back to 2009 when we were on the edge of the abyss financially. Rupert Lowe tried to use a variation of what Derby had done a couple of seasons previously in getting out of sanctions for financial mismanagement via loophole, which like Leeds spying the EFL had closed tight along with many of its “get out of jail” tendrils. Saints thought they were being clever and came unstuck with the EFL where the punishment was us being relegated to league one with a points deduction, but if we were relegated naturally from the Championship then we would start the season in League 1 with a full ten point deduction., the balance of the points deduction needed to relegate us if we were just above the drop zone. If the story is true about the jolly japes internally about spying earlier in the season, it’s amazing no one put their hand up to say “you do know if we get caught doing this - we are right in the s**t” - maybe someone did and the thought was “we’ll get a £2m fine at worst - which is mere dust when the reward is potentially £200m”. The EFL are very much “it’s my ball and I’m going home for tea” - just look at Sheffield Weds and Luton, point deduction on point deduction for financial misdemeanours from the outside you do think - why are you still kicking them whilst they are on the floor. Dont be surprised if we are still out of Saturday and that points deduction is doubled after today’s appeal.

Thats how you do Trees and bushes around a training ground!
-
But that way none of them can put in a claim for and expensive lunch washed down with a couple of equally expensive bottles
-
Well you had better sit down for this nugget Apparently we did actually sign Rudi Skácel!! 😳
-
If you sit around feeling sorry for yourself because it’s all foriegn and don’t have the gumption to have a crack at learning, or your mates back home on X-Box are your safe space then you are at a disadvantage. Something popped up on my FB the other day that was a “blimey!” post, it was Goalkeeper Mary Earps who plys her trade with PSG, it was a post match interview on French TV, chap asked her a question and she answered nothing like a lass from Nottingham, but fluent French! The interviewer was taken aback and almost laughing in surprise as he asked the next question, his questioning became more intense but jovial like he was enjoying it more than he expected. For someone who’s been there since July 24 it was very impressive to watch especially as it was far more than “I stood in goal and saved some shots”, it was like being interviewed on the BBC after an England game. I only did School French from 11 to 15 years ago, never really used it, roll the clock on 20 years camping in France got talking to a chap next door with no English, after a week we were rattling along in French - I even negotiated a reduction in a shop without the assistant going “you what mate?”. Shocked my wife, flipping shocked me! I have to admit to having to check myself when I spoke English to the family as bit of Joey Barton at Marseilles was creeping in 😳 It does make being in these places so much easier if you try, even badly. Best one was sat in a restaurant out in the sticks a way north of Barcelona with a supplier, “Sorry I don’t think they have an English Menu”, I opened it stared reading, made a few observations in English, the lady I was with had a surprised face “Wow - you can read the Catalan menu” - it’s not to hard with a bit of French and Spanish knowledge. Just can’t get Mandarin to stick between my ears. ☹️
