You could have just held a light bulb in you hand that night and it would have lit up - the atmosphere that night was crackling - well the PA certainly was as crackly they kept turning it up the drown out the “f**k of p*mpey-p*mpey f**k off” reposte from 3 sides of the ground.

Amazing when you think he was pretty much a £20m player due to him being a big part of Levy’s buying out of the 25% sell on clause we had on Bale, at a time when we’re in the shoite financially. Seems we had the same negotiating team for the Carrillo from Monaco deal. -

You could try the Car Park in 6 Dials just before the Criss-cross bridge heading away from the city on the Northam Road, just a short walk over the stadium access footbridge. Gosh the City Council have provided a What3words = ///canny.cloud.slime The place we use to park on matchdays when our Girls were under 10 was Crosshouse Quay car park, almost right under the Itchen bridge, its right on the water too so that added to the diversionary amusement seeing boats and stuff whilst eating their picnic lunch, less than a 10-12 minute walk to the ground without tiddlers messing about. Bit of a chore on a full fat matchday to get away from but Saturday should be easy. what3words ///minute.museum.wisdom Not quite as interesting and a similar walk is Bond Street over the road from the Northam Estate, marginally easier to get away after the game, if you are there in good time you could park on one of the Industrial Estate Roads for free, it is a popular spot. But an easy walk for sprouts. Bond Street is ///spring.burns.ahead If you don't use these you know they are there for "when can we go to football again". -

Best Saints goal you have ever seen live?
John Boy Saint replied to Lymington Saint's topic in The Saints
Aside from that great goal, the one thing I remember from that game was (might have been Wayne Thomas too) an off target shot, hit with some venom, hit an Ipswich player square in the face to an audible wince from the crowd, poor chap was out cold before he hit the floor, thankfully the ref spotted the way he flopped onto the pitch like his skeleton had been removed, and stopped the game before he had finished collapsing. -
We have a goal at last

If the keeper had gotten his hands to that, they would have snapped at the wrist! Sat at the other end of the ground as another f**ked free kick was happening, chap I sat next to we both uttering ffs cut short with Wow! Martinas worldie to wake up the stupid o’clock Boxing Day game was a gem too.

Well they deserved that - Liverpool have looked a bit ordinary
