The other thing to remember is that most of the other teams in this league do not have our resources,so when injuries and suspensions kick in later in the season many of the teams above us will struggle to find any consistency. I know we have not set the world alight at the moment but if we continue moving in the right direction,which I firmly believe we are,you never know what could happen. I went to the training session before the recent fans forum and was given a voucher for one adult and a 12 and under child to to go purchase a ticket for the gillingham game for £10. The seats are in the family enclosure. I did intend to go with my grandson but I cant go now. Anyone who wants the voucher is more than welcome to it if they want to come and collect it from me. I live in Sarisbury. Iwill be back on line in about an hour or so.

Say what you like about tonights match I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it bar the result.Rovers are a very good team ,well organised and with no small amount of skill I think we still have the same problems of lack of confidence ,when leading and tonight the concentration levels of the team dropped noticably on a couple of occasion which led to Rovers first and second goals.Nothing could have been done about their winner a real belter and if you have to lose ,lose to a goal like that. Small note to Mr Pardew,if you want to use papa waigos pace then get players to pass the ball into the space in front of him not straight at him.

Webber also bagged his first Pompey goal on 33 minutes - flicking Yebda's cross over Pidgeley and into the top corner to send the TINY band of travelling fans into raptures. Loved this bit from the BBC match report.

I was at the game too. Agree with the above report in everything ,espeacially their nippy little winger who really was a handful,looked the best player on the pitch.Papa Waigo will be an asset but I think it may take a little while for him to get going properly.I dont think not speaking english is helping at the moment.Nice to meet up with "saints fan cam" and "the fat controller" who spoke to AP before the game,I am sure he will be on later tonight or tomorrow to tell you what he said.

Seeing as we should have a fairly strong looking team with a couple of new faces tonight I was thinking about maybe taking a drive up to hungerford tonight. Looking on the Swindon website I see it is £3 to get in ,anyone in the sarisbury ,park gate or east side of town fancy sharing the petrol with me,either in my old banger or in another car.
