I was at the game too. Agree with the above report in everything ,espeacially their nippy little winger who really was a handful, looked the best player on the pitch.Papa Waigo will be an asset but I think it may take a little while for him to get going properly.I dont think not speaking english is helping at the moment.Nice to meet up with "saints fan cam" and "the fat controller" who spoke to AP before the game,I am sure he will be on later tonight or tomorrow to tell you what he said.

I have sent you a pm. Let me know if you are going.

Turn left of the a34 just before Newbury.

waigo, jahidi and holmes should all get a run out according to the echo.Dont think i will bother unless some one else is going to share costs .Just did a route planner and it is 100 mile round trip.

Seeing as we should have a fairly strong looking team with a couple of new faces tonight I was thinking about maybe taking a drive up to hungerford tonight. Looking on the Swindon website I see it is £3 to get in ,anyone in the sarisbury ,park gate or east side of town fancy sharing the petrol with me,either in my old banger or in another car.

Not unless he is very different from the rest of his family(some of them I have worked with) who are very anti Saints,he might be a good shout to go down the m27 at some point though -
To be fair to the ref,and I dont want to be because he was ****,the linesmen in front of the Kingsland in the 2nd half didnt seem to be able to see anything if it was more 6feet away from him.

not got sky so i cant watch but it sounded good on tsm.Now i need to call my cousin in aus and take the ****.

Having said that ,that is exactly the reason it is so good to beat them because you have to fight all the way
-
why dont the aussies just give up.They just never know when they are beat

Well having been to tuesdays game, today was a distinct improvement. I am sorry for you impatient ones but I think we are going in the right direction and you may well have to be frustrated for several more weeks. We will be good enough to get out of the relegation places but it wont be for a while yet.

what is the latest time today to get a ticket as I wont be back untill later this afternoon

Well I stayed up to watch but it didnt seem to be much better than itv coverage last year.maybe a bit slicker and no adverts but only a very short clip of the saints game.

I think we will have to wait until the season starts. If we hit the ground running and get three or four straight wins ,which will not be easy, then we can think about play-offs or even automatic promotion. But if we have the normal Southamptonesque start of 3or 4 points out of 12 then we will spend the whole season playing catch up. But with our new owner looking to do the business and get a good management team in place and maybe a couple of decent signings a flyer must be a possability.
