    Not true our mid season blip was far worse than this both result and performance wide we have afterall lost only 2 in the last 16 to Reading and Blackpool We were under strength at Blackpool and unlucky with Reading end of!

    I have to admit to being old enough to remember seeing Villa in division 3 (League 1 in new speak) early 1970's I think, we on the other hand were Div 1 at the time!

    We cant afford to lose at Middlesborough now given the GD is only 3 (a win for hammers and a loss for us is likely to turn this around) never mind the fact hammers are home to Hull on the last day who have nothing to play for and my heart couldnt stand a goal chase between us and coventry and hammers and hull!
